By the way, on related topic.....(want to save time not searching)

I remember, back a few years ago, that a wine package was offered only onboard at the main dinning......double check with my Dr and not yet on Alzheimer years........the package was like 3, 5 and 7 bottles or so........do that package is still available?

I’ve asked about that and no, they don’t have that anymore…in fact there’s no other package whatsoever involving alcohol except the one-size-fits-all DBP. Too bad for you if you only drink wine or beer or less than premium spirits.  😕

On most ships you can get some booze delivered to your cabin - it's in the gifts section of the planner.

Already reserved five bottles of the white wine and cheese package when it was on sale for $29. And two G&T sets for hubby. Add the two Greek wine bottles we can bring on the ship, we’ll be all set. The sporadic drinks during trivia or other events will be covered by OBC.

Sure it’s possible to adapt among the limitations, but it would be easier if they’d offer variety like every other cruise line, including sister Celebrity.

Always ask for the name brand of the liquor you want.  I always ordered my drinks with Tito’s and my wife’s with Grey Goose.  If not, they are going to give you the cheap stuff.  Forgot to ask one time and it was terrible.

Ok, ok!!!!!! Pardon for being so naive on the Font issue.....after a few days log in checking why you guys/gals are so damn annoyed by that, I figure it out

Btw, for the benefit of those.......will bold, italic and size it up the Default font......hope this will please your eyes 😛

Now it's just annoying. Just use the default

So just to be clear and summarize...

OJ should be fresh squeezed; Font size matters; Friends of Bill offer discounts on the DBP; a suitcase full of Red Bull would cost more to fly home than worth; either you Love or Hate the Drink Package, if you love the drink package you're an alcoholic and if you hate it you're a prude...

But seriously my doctor tells me to drink 8 - 16 cups of water a day which I struggle to do but when on board and I have the drink package I have no problem drinking all day...

We usually start the day with Latte on our way to the MDR (No WJ for us but that's a topic for another post) for a mimosa or 2 at breakfast, then 3-4 (+/-) poolside (or 7-8 if it's hot), water bottles for the room while getting done for dinner. Then we stop and meet our group or new friends (not Bill's friends though) at one of the bars for a pre-dinner drink or two. Possibly wine or another drink at dinner but mostly just water (to re-hydrate). Specialty coffee after dinner or an after dinner drink at or before a show (or casino, or bar depending what entertainment is scheduled for the night). Then throw in water bottle/s when getting off in port, a random milk shake or fruit smoothie.

All said and done we only get the package if we are going to warm weather location/s and if the trip isn't port heavy. It only makes sense for us if we are poolside most of the day. It helps that RCI includes the package on Coco Cay. For example our next cruise on the Anthem OTS goes to Port Canaveral (where we will most likely stay on the ship); Nassau and Coco Cay. So Nassau will be the only day where we won't be on the ship during the day. So even if we broke exactly even at the end of the cruise I would still get it so in a way it is pre-paid. While on vacation I want to relax and not worry if a frozen drink melts quick in the sun or a beer gets warm or a drink spills or I don't like something new that I tried.

If we get to the point where we don't break even we won't be getting it anymore. So far it is worth it for us, although the price for the package has gone up considerably since we bought it last (pre-covid). Hope you could read my font, understood my humor or got something out of my post..if not keep scrolling!!!
