Elite on Celebrity = Diamond on Royal - questions

Hi everyone - we are sailing on the Harmony of the Seas and I have a few questions I hope you will help answer.
1. Do we get priority boarding?
2. regarding the free day of internet - can that span a 24 hour period over 2 days or just one day?
3. How difficult is it to reserve times for the shows like Grease?

1. Pre-COVID, yes.  Now, most likely not (unless you are in Jr. Suite or higher).

2. Free day of internet is for one continuous 24 hour period.

3. Connect to the ships WiFI and book in the app as soon as you board.

1.  Diamond member priority boarding is like being in group 1 boarding a flight.  You might think you are a priority group but there are many others in front of you.  Star class suites, the other suites,  people who purchased The Key,  pinnacle members, diamond plus, and then diamond.  But it flows pretty quick.

2.  Once you activate your free 24 hours the clock is running and you can't stop it.

3.  Reserve the shows on the Royal app as soon as you board.  You have to be connected to the ship's internet (which you can do without buying a package or starting the clock on your free 24 hours).  Alternately they will have staff at a station to book shows for you.  I think they had the ice skaters doing it in the comedy club in February when I was on Harmony.

Those who already have replied got it all correct, but I just wanted to make sure that you've received your C&A and gone through the motions to get your reciprocity.  I expect so, but some folks missed doing so, believing that it just would happen.

Happy cruising!

Another_Critic, Anton and DCPIV -  thank you so much!

You didnt ask but imo the diamond club is a do not miss. I especially like the specialty coffee machine in the morning and maybe grabbing a pasty or something. .. and some conversation.

5 pm there are finger foods and some order drinks with their vouchers, but ruins my appetite so I dont do the 5 pm thing as much. I like the fresh squeezed oj in the buffet for one of my vouchers, each to his own.

Since cruising resumed, Diamond Plus and Diamond have absolutely no priority in boarding.

Thanks firefly - we haven’t been on Royal in several years so it’s great to have the reminders about what not to miss.

As a diamond you now will get 4 drinks loaded on your SeaPass card daily. You can get the drinks anytime during the day or night.  The drinks don't carry over to the next day. Use them or lose them.

You should receive a paper in your room listing onboard offers not advertised on the website as part of your Diamond benefits.

for example: BOGO Johnny Rockets shake, free specialty coffee if you dine in specialty restaurant, free spin to win in casino, free 8 x 10 photo, and a handful of others.

Also, Royal's Happy hour is 5-8pm vs celebrity 5-7pm. Royal honors it embarkation day, and in the dining rooms as well.
