So I just spoke with Royal Caribbean and they canceled my $175 onboard credit. They said they could not honor it because that was part of the WOW sale but it does not carry over to the new deployment.

They also said I would get a $50 credit for the change but then they told me I wouldn’t get that either because they were able to preserve the same category, even though the cabin and ship are inferior. I am unimpressed by their customer service.

I’m thinking it depends on the rep you get….earlier today I spoke to one who deals with TA’s using the chat function and  she said the WOW sale all carries over including OBC but that I should check after 8/18.  Guess we’ll know in a couple of weeks.

Call back and escalate the issue.  Everything is to be protected including your original OBC

It looks like my pricing is still about $600 too high. Do I need to call these guys or will they fix it on their own?

t can take days or even weeks for the pricing to be adjusted after the move.  Wait at least 2 weeks before calling

Presently on Liberty so I can't call till Monday but I will then use the redeployment number and see whats up.  I understand ship happens but this 45 night B3B cruise is a biggie for us and I chose my cabins with thought. I'm just irritated my first call left me in limbo.

We were happy with our Alaska cruise switching from Enchantment to Brilliance. We weren't so happy with our original cabin assignment on Brilliance after the change, but a call to C&A / Customer service (I dialed C&A, but late in the call I was asked if I'd ever cruised with RCCL before, so ???) got us back on a deck and location we're happy with.

We have 3 cabins booked for 14 August 2023 sailing from Athens, one Balcony and two Interior. Received our new allocations for the Enchantment 2 days ago. Had paid extra so that the Interior cabins for our daughters would be opposite the Balcony cabin, but when they were reallocated the Balcony cabin was on deck 8 (as per our original booking) and the two Interior cabins got allocated to deck 2. I managed to get through to RC on their international line as I was calling from South Africa. Luckily there was availability on Interior cabins almost opposite the Balcony cabin and we were changed. Very expensive phone call though!!

I am also still waiting for updates on the fares as we have been allocated a far larger amount outstanding for the Balcony cabin as compared to our original booking on the Brilliance. The Interior cabins are cheaper.

Please check your bookings carefully

Bunch of BS that is. Royal should make the moves and adjust pricing at the same time. Going back to the reservation again is just double work for someone. No wonder all this takes so long.

And a third time in my case.... they adjusted the pricing but have not yet added the promotional OBC.

And a reminder for those considering cancelling without penalty.  There is a deadline to do this, which I think is August 16 or 18, or at least that's what the agent told me.  In my case, it's a fully refundable deposit, so I can take my time.  But for those without fully refundable deposits, there may be some time pressure since there's apparently a deadline.

I checked this weekend and had my cabin assignment. (I went from Brilliance to Enchantment.) I had an OV room on Deck 2 on Brilliance, so not too difficult to replicate. I'm a little further forward than I'd prefer, but pretty similar to the location I had booked. Price seems right. I had opted to prepay gratuities, which was not reflected in my new reservation, but I'll fix that when things die down. It also looks like I lost a $50 OBC, but I can also address that when customer service isn't so crazed. Neither of these issues is a big concern.

Just spent an hour and half on the phone.  Tried redeployment number, got the run around, sent me to casino.  We don't enter the casino so don't know why the code said that.  Then sent to C and A desk who finally got me back to redeployment who helped me rebook our cabins.  I still don't have the emails as proof but will wait until tomorrow to call back.  I was getting REALLY irritated ( but was always nice) and Kevin was finally able to make it work.  We now have the same cabin for 34 nights and will move next door for the last 11.  I'm satisfied but a hassle. This is a huge trip for us.  I choose our first cabins on Enchantment very early and since its so long i was picky.

They took me from a non-connecting room to a connecting room, so I called the redeployment desk to see if they could do a swap.  They said that the revenue department isn't done with the bookings, and so they couldn't make any changes until after August 18th.  Sounds like not everyone is getting the same answer though.

I also booked a similar cruise on Celebrity as a fallback.  The ship too is older (Infinity), but probably nicer than Enchantment, plus the room is likely double the size (Prime Ocean View) and I suspect that the food and service would be superior.

I almost do refundable bookings which gives me a lot of flexibility up until final payment.

I had called redeployment and got new cabins secured ( or so I thought) but didn’t have the new invoices.  That took me 90 min.  Today I called back for the invoices.  All B3B cruises were at higher rates and had been changed to non refundable.  Another 90 minutes on the phone.  Well my cabins aren’t secure.  They did get a supervisor to make a note that the non refundable is to be honored although the invoices don’t reflect that.  So now back to square one.  I’m supposed to call in again ( I’m sure for another couple of hours) closer to August 18th and see where we are.

I get waiting for price adjustments but I want my cabins!  Since the cabins I asked for don’t exist on Enchantment I’m not sure why I can’t secure them.

They have sn automated process they go through.  Manually doing things before that process is run can screw things up.

I was in the same position for my clients so when bookings were released I put their preferred cabins on hold until the moves got done then it was a simple matter of a cabin change.

Have you checked your reservation online at the site? I have seen my new cabin numbers there and was appalled. I called Royal and got nowhere. The cabins are about 25 sq ft smaller for the same or an INCREASED price. I have b2b reservations and this is a mess. All the rep wanted to do was to increase my cost. A cabin of the same category was available on deck 4 (same deck and category I had reserved on Brilliance) and he would not give me that cabin unless I paid a lot more money. I am disgusted. And, yes the taxes are higher also. I had good locations, cabin on deck 4 for both cruises. Now, I have a worse location on deck 4 for one cruise and a worse location down on deck 2 for the other cruise. Ridiculous for a b2b and both are much smaller. I think I will cancel.

We had 3 Balcony Cabins next to each other on Brilliance.  Just got my cabin assignment for the 2 cabins I booked.  My son and his girlfriend got a Junior Suite on Deck 8 (nice).  My, My husband and daughter got a Ocean View on Deck 3.  (not so nice).  Not sure what my Brother and SIL got yet.  Have my travel agent working on getting us hopefully on Deck 8 also with a Balcony.  Probably can't do anything until next week though.

I've been checking the website daily regarding my b2b.  The other day, my first week showed Enchantment, w/ the second week still showing Brilliance and "voyage cancelled."  Today it shows both weeks on Enchantment, and with cabin assignments.  Have to say I'm pleasantly surprised that they kept us in the same cabin for both legs - I was sure I was going to have to call them about that.  Interestingly, we're in the exact same cabin number we had booked on Brilliance.

I'm also in the same cabin that I was in Brilliance.  That said, pretty sure I'm going to jump over to Celebrity.  While the itinerary is the same, just about everything else seems like a downgrade with no real incentive to make the change.  In fact, the price is about $100 higher than before (taxes?).
