Some questions

My friend has a few questions about our upcoming sailing. 
 

1) Is the free Lavazza coffee from beans or syrup? My husband and I liked it but not positive it’s bean so wanted to make sure I’m accurate in answering her question. 

 

2) Does the Solstice offer any movies for free on the TV or in any public venues? I remember the TV having nothing but $9.99 PPV movies on the Constellation when we went.

There are a few free movies on the TV, not very current.

Princess is the only cruiseline I know of that uses that horrid coffee syrup concentrate. They are so proud of it but it's terrible. So the coffee on Celebrity is from grounds, not liquid coffee concentrate.

We spent two weeks on the Solstice in June.  To provide a sense of how recent the free movie offerings were we watched the latest James Bond.

Kwokpot, my DH and I actually are fine with Princess’s syrup based coffee. My friend is not, though. Hopefully she’ll like Celebrity’s coffee, so she won’t have to buy specialty coffee every day.

We have cruised on both Princess and Celebrity; my wife is very fussy about her coffee.  The coffee on Princess is from syrup and is awful; the coffee on Celebrity is from ground beans and is quite good!

Just off Solstice - I was surprised to see a few newer releases for free: The Lost City, Cyrano to name a couple. Not summer releases, but not so old either.

There were also  free movies in public venues.  The schedule is posted in the app and daily flier.

Oh good because it’s fun to see a movie out of the room sometimes, too. We will both miss Princess’s Movies Under the Stars.

An issue with available movies, when it's available on a cruise ship, it's often also available on several streaming services and on planes
