We have booked cruise with " that agency" think we,d have any luck getting the reduced price? We are pre final payment.

It depends when the cruise is departing and where you are going. The website does show which cruises are part of the 3-Day Sale.  I just re-booked a cruise a cruise that I had put under a hold (no deposit). The agency price-matched Princess, and gave me $310 in shipboard credits.  The best part is that I am going as a single in my cabin, no single supplement, but still getting the credits for two people. I am beyond happy.

I booked with a Princess CVP, and in my Travel Summary for that booking, I see under special service, it listed "cruise night coupon book".  Is that the same book you attached?  Will Princess send me the coupon book before my cruise (Oct 2022) or will send me an email with an attachment of the coupon book?   Thanks.

Same book - I believe they are all digital now so you should be sent a link or attachment and you can show on your device or print prior to leaving.

There are quite strict rules - if you are before final payment, you would need to cancel your current booking and rebook under new promo. There is no refaring for this offer so you would need to check which booking is better for you. Anything you have under your current booking would be lost and you would receive whatever promo is offered for this sale instead - sometimes it works better, sometimes not...

I figured as much. Those days of a BOGO dinner are long gone.

Oh well, their loss.

Even the setup isn't worth much these days seeing that most of us have the package.

How do you know most of us have the package. No one I know buys that over priced package.

I booked a cruise under this promo yesterday. Pricing was below the Princess website, and we received a cabin credit of $155, per person. My TA told me that the best discounts are on Princess Plus because it's being offered under the old pricing of $40 per day, instead of the new $50 per day.

I find it quite annoying that Princess Plus used to be $40 per day and included Specialty Dining but now Princess Plus is $50 a day and they have removed the Specialty Dining. What a crock...

So very true, but I'm more horrified at the pricing of items at the grocery store. Our dog's dry food has gone up 25% and the canned food 50%. I'm guessing Princess is having to pay inflated prices to stock the ships and passing it on to us.

Lol, not dog food exactly, but you get gist of it. I just got back from the store.

I don't recall Plus ever including specialty dining? Wasn't it just an added promo? Maybe I'm wrong, but I feel like I've been buying/selling Plus since it started and don't recall dining being included. There were many times that the dining was an additional promo at time of booking, though...if it were included and now isn't, then yes that blows!

This is exactly our recollection as well. I do not remember Specialty Dining ever being one of the three "parts" of the Plus Package (drinks, Wifi and gratuities), though we occasionally did get Specialty Dining as an extra offering from our TA

I booked my cruise that leaves Monday (on the Caribbean Princess to Greenland) during the 3-day sale in June. It came with $360 in OBC at the same base fare as Princess was offering. I booked my November cruise (on the Caribbean to the Panama Canal) this week under the 3-day cruise. For some reason, the cruise fare increased from what Princess had in order to get the sale, but I'm netting $99 in OBC compared to booking directly with Princess. It was better than other travel agencies competed with.

The only worthwhile coupon for me is the $10 in casino play with $20 spending. I'm sailing solo, so the free bottle of wine doesn't apply. We'd definitely use it if DH were coming with me and we did not have Plus.

I understand the forum rules but am very interested in how to find out about this sale.

Would someone mind messaging me the travel agent as we have a princess booking and are interested in another.

Thanks

The sale ended yesterday, but if you Google 3 day cruise sale, it will come up for you.

When Princess included the dining they put it on the personalizer as a gift from the TA but it wasn't a gift from the TA. This is something that has always annoyed me. We have never used specialty dining unless it was included as a perk and it always showed up on the personalizer as a gift from the TA even though it was part of a Princess promotion.

Can anyone give me a 'hint' of the TA?  Looking to book a Jan 2023 cruise.

Or am I better off waiting for black friday?

No idea if waiting is better. But you can EXPlore with your TA. 😉
