Especially true for some dress shirts that don't get worn that often when a person is retired.  A few I've missed and have been collecting on the bathroom counter for some reason!

I’m still finding them from an August cruise.

When you request some things from the Shoreside Concierge and get on the ship to find only some have been handled it could be the SSC messed up or it could be the folks on the ship dropped the ball.

It would be unlikely that the Suite Manager or Retreat Concierge would say , “yes Mr Royal Suite we got your request for 6 dinner reservations, a yoga mat, extra hangers, 2 bottles of Tanqueray 10, and a cheese plate at 4 on embarkation day, but we only had time to make the dinner reservations”. Easier to say “ we didn’t get that info but we will take care of it right away.”  Nicer yo be the hero vs the goat.

🤣

A new one for the get out of jail free list:

SSC have not contacted you and when you call them rather than apologise for the muck up they advise they emailed you on the xx. I asked them to forward the email as I hadn't received the original. Lo and behold the email is not a forward of an original.

Hopefully the stuff up doesn't impact our speciality dining reservations.

Breath, smell the roses and enjoy the cruise....

Do the Upper Suites receive the same perks on a 4 night cruise as they do on a 7 night cruise?  ie: 2 bottles of liquor??

I did on a 5 night cruise so I'm sure the same is true on a 4 night cruise.

We did in November on the Silhouette.  We did a B2B, 4 day and 10 day in a RS.  We received two bottles for each cruise.

Yes, and what they left for us when they forgot our 'switch' were 1.5L bottles.  Think you can get through 3L in 4 nights? 😦

They'll trade one or both for wine if you prefer.

You get that even if you are solo.  Nothing like two bottles of booze all for yourself for 4 nights! 🍸

Le Voyage also included

We had multiple appetizers and entrees

Not even a mention of a bill or a receipt or any up charges for anything

A truly wonderful experience and we certainly will be doing again and again

A sample to remind those that have and for those that will enjoy

Our experience from service and quality of food was excellent (5 ️)

Not that I could necessarily discern between 1, 2, or 3 stars - but those courses almost looked too good to eat!!

I will definitely try this next time I am on a edge class. Also get the pajamas monogrammed, I rarely use pajamas gave my last set to a friend . Wife loves them.

All I remember George on day one, butler asked my daughter how she liked her initials, she gave him her license plate, I uttered GS and never thought much about it, then on day 3 there they were.

was a nice touch that was not expected.

Premium on Celebrity knocks Royals Star class out of the park, even MSC Yacht club is better than Royals Star Class.

We've only ever stayed in Sky suites on Celebrity, but our experiences have varied wildly in terms of amenities and service. Prior to covid, it was more of a true suite experience: afternoon tea in our suite, daily morning coffee, evening hors d'oeuvres,  white-glove in-suite meals, luxurious bath products, flowers, fruit, invitations and meals with officers, etc. Great party we hosted...

First ship out in 2021 (Edge), we had brand-new-to-cruising (!) staff and many butler/housekeeping snafus; despite less than 30% of capacity, they had packed the suites, so endless waits for Luminae, Retreat seating, etc.--but the rest of the ship was empty. So we ate in Blu a lot, enjoyed empty main pool...

On the Connie a couple of weeks ago, it was a pendulum. We were sandwiched between a Royal and a Penthouse, so butler was always around--good--but other than the (ahem) interesting room design (six large porcelain parrots glued to shelves!), it seemed to be regarded as basically a larger verandah... The amenities weren't "extra nice," basic minibar, we had to ask for everything: robes, etc. They would NOT give us more than a single bath towel each. When we requested more, they brought them--but then when we left the room, they removed the previously hung, unused ones! Bizarre. We began bringing in pool towels for the balcony and to mop up the rivers that ran from the leaking shower across the room to the drain in front of the vanity...

Room service also varied: fantastic--and hot!--when butler brought it. Otherwise if he was on break, they forgot side dishes, cold, etc. (in other words, like 90% of all room service, both shoreside and on ships, lol). Sommelier didn't want to serve us wines outside our premium package, to the extent that many bottles on the menu were "unavailable"--except when we inquired elsewhere. It was like he was afraid to tell us of the surcharge.

YET: We were deluged with all sorts of invitations. Special tours, dinner with officers, sailaways, I think at least 4 receptions. Attentive shoreside concierge. Michael's Club concierges were excellent and responsive. Escorted off the ship, etc. Persian Garden pass. We were sent plates of fancy desserts for no reason...

Oh well, we've still booked another cruise on the Connie, lol. Just remember to follow the good advice above and present your list of expectations/requests.

I am confused.  I looked at the Connie deck plan and do not see a sky suite "sandwiched between a Royal and Penthouse".

Based on deck plans, it appears to change to an Aqua Sky Suite when they reclassify cabins this spring.  Like previously stated there is a concierge class room in there too.

It was 6146, Sky Suite as of Dec 2 2022; it was due to be converted to an Aqua Suite after the Revolutionizing. We were just next to the penthouse with its aft wraparound balcony, with an interior door to that suite (locked of course). If you see the parrot photo I posted, you'll notice the dark wood throughout (and the bathroom was dark green marble, all the height of 80s elegance, along with big hair and shoulder pads).. But: when we toured the vacated nearby royal and then the portside penthouse the morning of disembarking, those suites were done in pale gold wood, a completely different vibe. Interesting

We normally just bring the booze home with us , prefer drinking in the bars , with live music.

Oh, we've brought home plenty of those bottles, and I love my live music in the lounges. However, it's also nice to have a quiet wind-down drink or two on the balcony at night.

Will be in a Celebrity Suite on Reflection and placed a move up bid to Royal Suite.  SO EXCITED!

Have read butler will draw a bath for you.  Does butler add anything to the water?  Bath bombs or oils or some other fragrant stuff?  Can I bring my own bath bombs?  I know with some jetted tubs bubbles are not allowed.
