Sports bar/best place for football watching on Millennium

Luckily, our second college football game coincides with our sea day, so I will be needing a place to watch the game. Where is the best place to watch sports onboard Millennium? I know I can stream it from my ipad possibly, but would rather watch on a bigger screen with a drink in hand.

Last June on Millie I saw sports on the tv at the bar in the casino.

There aren’t many places to watch games. If the casino is open they usually have them in the casino bar, but all depends on the game. They are very limited

Oh well. Maybe the wifi will be okayish enough to watch online.

The sports channels on cruise ships favor soccer, cricket and Formula 1 over college football. Planning to watch online is a good idea.

It’s on ESPN, so unless there’s some sort of regional blackout, it should be ok. Google says ESPN is one of the channels available in the rooms.

ESPN on the ships is not the ESPN you’re familiar with.

On our very first cruise in 2005 on the millennium , the second day was Super Bowl Sunday and we watched the game in the casino. They had a tailgate party with hotdogs and popcorn. It was a blast.

Why not take your iPad on a fact finding bar crawl prior to your match day? Some locations on the ship definitely have better reception than others. Even if on a small screen you will then be able to enjoy with a drink in hand!

Best place is in your cabin on the TV.   If it is in the Sports Bar the sound may not be on and there are too many distractions.   ESPN  is available  on the TV in the cabin.
