Diamond lounge question

When we first get on ship, is there anyone in the lounge immediately to help with reservations or are they there just during certain  hours?

Usually certain hours. In the morning and then by 5 pm..someone might be there before 5 pm though.

Generally either closed on no one there. Concierge is busy getting out benefit letters, updating his list of people etc.

The DLC will have theirs hours posted at their desk in the DL.

You don't say which ship but on the Harmony there is somebody there from 8:30 to 11:30 and 4:30 - 7:30.

If the concierge isn’t there - there’s no guarantee, you can reserve shows yourself on the app or over the phone. If you have the UDP any specialty restaurant can make your dining reservations for the entire cruise.

It’s Ovation and I’m thinking BOGO benefit for Diamond +. When we were on Ovation for Alaska in May, waited in line at reservations and then told they were not honoring this benefit at this time…..just trying to avoid standing in a long line again.

Go to Wonderland (the likely least busiest specialty venue) when you board and ask there (you can book any venue). If truly ship wide denial, the DL concierge likely won't be able to help.

Any of the specialty restaurants can make your reservations for you.  For any of them.  Just find one that does not have a line, and walk up.  

 

The Concierge is only there in the morning, for departing pax...and then back again around 5 pm.
