Parramatta's Strange Wet Weather Patterns vs Cairns weather

Trying to plan a long weekend's activities in Parramatta is not easy.

Friday 90% rain 

Saturday 5% rain

Sunday 90% rain 

Then rain all week.  How can that little ball of bright yellow sunshine on Saturday pop up amongst all that rain?

Saturday Parramatta is celebrating the Deepavali Festival, the Festival of Light, hopefully that will help.

sunday 23-31 10% rain, mostly sunny

I think the Cairns version of Parramatta might be up-market - it is actually Parramatta Park.🙂

They call them banana benders up there .

When I lived in Cairns I couldn’t work out why they had a callus on one knee.

I thought they where all devout Catholic but it was from bending bananas.

So how was the Parramatta weather this weekend? Forecasts aren't always as they are cracked-up to be.

Saturday was perfect as forecast.  Sunday started sunny, then cloudy, but no rain.  Perfect weather for the popular Dwali Festival all weekend. Now forecast wet all week, so we'll see how we go.  Hope passengers on Coral are experiencing good weather in the low 30s,.getting hotter as they get closer to Darwin.
