kenzie Posted December 13, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 13, 2022 I note that Sapphire latitudes and above should have concierge service, where can you find this service on board?
phillygwm Posted December 13, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2022 I just made Sapphire but the concierge is actually a benefit at Platinum level. Unfortunately, it isn't really a thing. I'm told you ask someone at the Cruisenext desk but they're not really setup to assist and generally look at you funny when you ask. If anyone has different experiences, please share. The benefit at Sapphire is priority restaurant and entertainment seating. That would be nice if it actually works.

SeaShark Posted December 13, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 13, 2022 Just came back from Encore. Phone # for the concierge was provided by the CruiseNext/Latitudes Rep. Concierge is the one who provides the priority restaurant/entertainment seating benefit and certainly was available as needed.

It is a non-benefit as far as I can tell. I have been a platinum (and above) for many years and have only once been given access to a concierge who did not really want to assist (too busy will real Haven passengers). My experience as well on my last cruise. Concierge couldn't be bothered. Told me to go elsewhere for help.
Rare mking8288 Posted December 13, 2022 #7 Share Posted December 13, 2022 It's a virtual benefit only, if you are lucky, you'll get a welcome back letter with the concierge extension, not a name, to call for restaurant & show assistance, and said to help as best as s/he can. Anything else, you are on your own. We're also in a non-Haven family suite on the Joy and got the name of the concierge in the letter. Never once heard from, let alone meeting him face-to-face or anything close, not that we needed anything. But, you'll probably get priority disembarkation luggage tags to use, free & for your convenience, not escorted. We are usually never in a hurry on that final morning, so not important 🤔 Sailings at lowered occupancy level, we haven't come across anything to need concierge services onboard. Just don't expect anything. Happy cruising & stay healthy in a smart way.

The last time I cruised in a non-suite and wanted dinner reservations made, the concierge told me, and I quote, "did you know you could do that yourself?" 1

Rare luv2kroooz Posted December 13, 2022 #10 Share Posted December 13, 2022 Ditto what everyone else has said....non benefit. Enjoy your cruise, nonetheless.
Rare JIMESOPUS Posted December 13, 2022 #11 Share Posted December 13, 2022 We have used this phone number at home in the past with dinner reservations and show's. Never had a need to use it while aboard.
dexddd Posted December 13, 2022 #12 Share Posted December 13, 2022 Heck, even suite or Haven some of the concierges are pretty lame. 1
Rare graphicguy Posted December 14, 2022 #13 Share Posted December 14, 2022 (edited) Just to reiterate what others have said, it's sort of a phantom perk. I was instructed to go to the Cruise Next desk for all "concierge" requests. But, once I did that, they only gave me a "Sapphire" pin and instructed me to go to the Box Office and Specialty Restaurant Desk for those reservations, respectively. Was I given priority with my reservations? I don't know. Didn't seem to matter. But, I was given priority embarkation. But, that has nothing to do with the "concierge". On the flip side, the Diamond Lounge concierge on Royal was a huge help in making arrangements, taking care of billing issues, etc. Edited December 14, 2022 by graphicguy
