Holiday Mass

Pre-Covid Celebrity would have Catholic priests aboard during the Christmas and Lenten/Easter seasons. Does anyone know if this is currently occurring?

No priest or minister was on board on our last Easter cruise pre COVID.   There has always been a rabbi and he offered services on Friday and at Friday dinners in the main restaurant.   Nothing was available for Christians.   Can’t speak about service for Christmas but they did have Christmas decorations up until after 1/6 as many in the crew were Greek Orthodox.

Doubtful since Christmas is on Sunday.

The Daily Planner for the current Beyond cruise (Dec. 18 - 26) shows both daily Catholic masses as well as Chanukah services. They also have a non-denominational service on Christmas Day. You can check your specific ship in the Celebrity App.

It's not just Greek Orthodox. January 6 is Epiphany - or Three Kings Day - and is the 12th day of Christmas.

I was an altar boy!  Need be, I can say Mass.

Last week, Christmas 2022, Solstice had priest who performed Midnight Mass and Christmas Mass.  Also a rabbi who did Hanukkah candle lighting and Fri night services.

Thanks for the offer, Elvis! Basseterre"s cathedral has 8:30 Sunday Mass which is where we'll be if no priest aboard!
