tampadee Posted January 7, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 7, 2023 I didn't do our check-in early enough and we know have 1:30. Can we get on the ship earlier because of Diamond Plus?
mets123 Posted January 7, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 7, 2023 It depends where you sail from. Not all ports have this option.

Can we get on the ship earlier because of Diamond Plus? There is no longer any priority to board the ship for diamond plus (at least not Port Everglades). As far as the check-in time....on my last 2 cruises...Port Canaveral and Port Everglades they didn't even pay attention to the check-in time assigned. They don’t look at your time. Edited January 7, 2023 by fredmdcruisers Typo
ssb Posted January 7, 2023 #6 Share Posted January 7, 2023 From front door to screening , there is no D+ priority in any of the ports .
shipgeeks Posted January 7, 2023 #7 Share Posted January 7, 2023 At Baltimore they are strict about time; and there is no priority for D+.
Rare island lady Posted January 7, 2023 #8 Share Posted January 7, 2023 There is a difference between boarding and check in. If you have a check in time of 1:30...that is when you check in to the terminal ...not when you board.

It is deck 4, which does the MTD seating, with first seating at 6:45. A few "ladies" were having a hissy stomp fest about not being seated right away (when we were going in at 5:15 early traditional).

I cruised out of Miami last month and they strictly enforced check-in times. Heard a lot of upset passengers but terminal staff members did not budge one bit and told passengers not to return until their check-in window. On the other hand, I just got off a B2B on Wonder and no one at Port Canaveral verified check-in times.
