Okay, I just got a photo from a buddy that is cruising right now with the new policy of just once day cabin service.  He says that there is no big deal, he hardly noticed any difference.

A little humor intended!!!!

Not sure about other Quantum ships, but Oddysey has pizza in Giovanni's Kitchen, and also in the Wine Bar

You can even watch them make it

Kitchen is priced like Giovanni's Table with lunch and dinner versions

Wine Bar is ala carte

These are just a few of the choices

These types of factual presentations are real buzzkills.

I like to believe in my own sense of alternate reality and facts.

A pox on factual posters with their pictures and cute anecdotes.  🤣

Ok. Must be different than the Giovanni’s Italian Restaurants on older ships.

I'm not paying for pizza on a cruise ship. Next they will be charging for hamburgers. Oh wait, they already do.

go on Carnival and you can get Guy's burgers which are very good and free.  Always hot and tasty with great fries.

No thank you.

oh the new ships are nice

in buffet area they have at lunch 5 tier cakes that are gorgeous and taste good.

I had chocolate and green tea.

OH and no hard beds on Carnival.   You should try some of the new ships just once.   You might be surprised.

Better check again, Giovanni's Kitchen most certainly does.

Yep, we had the Meat Lovers on Odyssey, but we preferred the excellent pizza in Sorrento's better.  I did like the fried Lasagna too.

It seems to be the direction they are headed

Wonder has this setup, but Odyssey does it better being open to Esplanade.

Allure was going to get it during 2020 drydock

You really need to reconsider standing on these outdated principles.. It's quite good

Fried lasagna was very good. We had the Giovanni. Next time will be Margarita.

Didn't enjoy the meatball

However you lost me with excellent Sorrento's. I found ot to just be ok on Odyssey

You mean not making my overall cruise choices based on pizza and hamburgers?

We were commenting on the food only.  I would never make that my criteria for choosing a ship...and since food is highly subjective, does it really matter?

Odyssey,  but Wonder is the same

Figures.  On the website for Odyssey or Wonder they don't even show a menu for Giovanni's.  Let's hear it for Landside operations again.

I guess Giovanni's is the Italian Restaurant of Royal's choice now.  Which is a good thing, for me.  I like it better than Jamie's.
