Buying playing cards in personalizer

The personalizer shows 2 card decks that can be purchased prior to your cruise.  One is $3.95.  The other is $5.95.  I cannot tell the difference between the two.  I've noticed this difference for a long time now. Anybody know what the difference is?

Can't tell the difference either.  Before COVID they used to sell used casino cards for $1 per deck.  Although used, these were very high quality cards with a Princess Cruises logo.  They were large font and had "thumb indents" on the side for ease of handling.  You may want to consider checking if they still sell these

They used to sell a set of cards at Crooner's that had a different drink recipe on the back of each one. 52 different drinks. I gave one to each of my sons but foolishly didn't get a deck for myself. Sadly, they don't sell them anymore.

As for the difference between the two decks you are seeing in the Personalizer... Sounds weird to me. Princess weirdness at it's finest.

Edit: Just looked at the offerings and it seems that pretty much everything in that list has two entries with different pricing. Very odd indeed.

Sounds like another fumble by the pricing updating team!!!

Buy those quickly.  Maybe, they will come back and delete the OLD price?  They were $3.95 in the gift shop.

😳

Don't really want to buy any.  We have 2 decks we won on a cruise.  I believe they also had the two prices several years ago.

It would be nice if Princess was actually more descriptive.  They might get more sales if they did.

For the cards my only thought would be that the less expensive cards may be used Casino cards whereas the more expensive cards could be new/unused cards.

Of course that doesn't account for the various perfumes or colognes that have more than one price but the same description.

I went and checked the gift shop today… the $5.95 version have Stanley on them and are in a plastic case. The $3.95 cards are in a paper box and have the ship on them.634EF77C-B032-4676-9534-F70768CA2376.thumb.jpeg.6b8e72f0012696a6135d8e653e6f550b.jpeg

They would have to pay me extra to take the ones with Stanley on them.

You seem to be totally dismissing the possibility that the perfumes or colognes could be "returns"! 😄

Been wondering about the cards being different prices myself - also the reversible jacket no choice in sizes???

Someone said you take the voucher to the shop to pick it up.  That being the case, why do they ask you to select a delivery day?

Does anyone have an opinion on the jacket?  The picture is too small for me to see much detail.  I expand, but it’s not clear.  Assuming the price is the same on board, I guess I will look in person and make a decision there.

you select a delivery date in case you are sending the item as a gift ( for example if you wanted it delivered on a birthday).
