On Oasis, the bags of chips once available in Park Cafe, have gone the way of the dinosaur.

I know RC has to make money to pay off the BILLIONS in debt and accountants rule,, but

Come on Man…..

Maybe limit one per guest per trip…..

The 1000 cuts of cost reductions continue.

We have had them on the Radiance for the last 2 cruises.

On Allure you had to wash your hands and stand in sandwich line to get them.  Radiance was at salad bar in Solarium and seldom had a line.

They were available at 270 Cafe on Anthem just this month, but you have to know to ask for them at salad bar. They are no "on display."

If they really want to save money on food, they could stop putting that gross broiled tomato on every plate. 😁

Pizza, potatoes and rice will never be limited as long as you eat up.  Cheap fillers.

I was on the Oasis August/September and you had to ask for the chips.  If you didn't know they had them, you didn't get them because they were behind the counter and not in plain sight.

I like the Lays plain chips. Sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not.  Room service has those chips so they do exist on the ship.  You may be able to get some if you ask.

I think Anthem has been doing that for a while.  I don't remember seeing them last winter either but they had them if asked.

Currently on Odyssey and two types have been on display and available each day in Two70.

They had them on Allure  a few months ago along with those sun chips.

I asked for them as they were not displayed on the counter.

We now bring a few small bags of reg Lay's chips because they trained us to eat them with those roast beef sandwiches.

Was on Oasis late last year and they were not on display and you had to ask for them.  I am on Anthem now and it is the same at Two70. They had plain last cruise.  Earlier this cruise I got Salt & vinegar and the last two days they have had the cheddar ones. They are limiting it to 2 per person.

Just off Jewel today...Lays chips were only available from 9 PM to 1 AM. NO chips from Park Cafe during the daytime hours. 

 

(The Park Cafe staff was really good)

They were available in the Two70 bistro throughout the cruise last week on the Anthem.
