If one wishes to give more at any of them, fine, and if not, fine as well. There was no cover for 360.

I said that the price should be what people pay for the Chef’s Table. As much as I enjoyed the experience, I wouldn’t pay more than $150 pp.

VibeGuy Posted February 9, 2023 #34 Share Posted February 9, 2023 (edited) Aside from mentioning our 360 server in the post-cruise survey, we did offer her a small token of appreciation. Nobody working on a cruise ship aside from those wearing several stripes is making bank. Edited February 9, 2023 by VibeGuy

We were not in a full suite. Stayed in a deluxe balcony. We were invited while onboard , talked to other nonsuite guests who had received a phone call prior to sailing. In our group, there was a mixture of suite, non suite, Casino vip and a retired Princess officer. Also a mix of first time cruisers, platinum and elites.

Our post-cruise surveys did not ask about the 360.

coopco Posted August 23, 2023 #42 Share Posted August 23, 2023 Thanks for everyone’s input. We booked a suite on Discovery (first time and maybe last simply because of the cost but part of the reason we booked was 360 but mainly to get 2 credits for Elite since we are so close.) It sounds like handle 360 the way you would a specialty restaurant as far as tipping. We always tip but we understand it’s absolutely optional. That’s our personal preference and I appreciate everyone’s input on how much they feel is appropriate. This is helpful since it’s a new experience for us.

DiRonT Posted August 23, 2023 #44 Share Posted August 23, 2023 We were unprepared for some reason and did not take any tip money with us. We felt terrible because at the end of the event we would have loved to have been able to tip. We did however, provide excellent reviews by name of all the individuals that served us that evening. We are very thankful that we are in a position to be able to share what little extra we have with such hardworking wonderful people who make our cruise experience so fabulous. Just our personal opinion.

Just our personal opinion. I did the same, but I did get names and send envelopes. Took $$ the swing time. I did $20 for server and $10 for Rafael. fThe first time I went I was booked in a Suite. The 2nd I was in a deluxe, obstructed balcony and was able to invite my 3 travel mates.

I was also thinking - “I’m not even sure who/how to tip anyone”. I didn’t remember the same servers assisting us throughout the entire dinner. That very well may have been the case, but we were just so enthralled by the whole dinner, I just didn’t notice. I’ll definitely pay more attention this next trip. Exactly - actually I was a little disappointed in how many people showed up in jeans, t-shirts and hoodies. I get that it is considered a casual event. But maybe smart casual would be more appropriate.
