ZoeyVictoria Posted February 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2023 My passport is currently in the renewal process. Check-in for Freedom of the Seas opened today, and I selected birth certificate and drivers license. If my new passport arrives before the cruise, do I need to amend check-in, or can I just leave it as it is?
Rare shof515 Posted February 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 10, 2023 leave it as is, they can update it in the terminal
Sunshine3601 Posted February 10, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2023 I would update before cruise then you don't have to waste time and do at the terminal.
molly361 Posted February 10, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2023 (edited) I would go ahead and update it. Doesn't take but a couple of minutes I actually did that a few months ago. Didn't have my passport yet when check in opened. Edited February 10, 2023 by molly361
BND Posted February 10, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 10, 2023 If you can, update it before they close check in. If not, you can just check in with your passport.
Rare island lady Posted February 10, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 10, 2023 Really simple to just go back in to your set sail pass and edit the info. I did it once when I had to check in while out of state, and forgot to bring my passports. Easy Peasy.
ZoeyVictoria Posted February 10, 2023 Author #7 Share Posted February 10, 2023 Thanks, I will change it as soon as I receive the passport.. I applied for the online renewal on January 19, will sail on March 27. I have never taken a cruise without a passport and prefer not to start now!
