I will get some pictures this afternoon

Thanks, either function is OK by me but the luncheon is preferable.

That is provided we get the invitation. 😁

Are you staying on board in Ft Lauderdale for another cruise?

I forgot to mention that the cigar lounge was converted on a video game room. There are only 30 minors on the ship and I haven’t seen any of them using the room. I don’t think it’s a very good use of the space.

Where is cigar smoking now permitted? That would be an area I wish to avoid when boarding at the end of February.

No, we have a pricey cruise to Australia next year, so we need to go home.

I haven’t seen anyone with cigars. Smoking is permitted in the casino, deck 16 by the pool bar, and deck 7, starboard, aft.

I surely hope that those areas remain cigarette only. What about the conference center. Has that been converted to a cigar lounge? On the three original Grand Class ships that area was a cigar lounge/bar.

It’s still a conference room. There’s an escorted group on board and the travel agents are set up there to distribute their daily gifts.

Another question. The Ruby is scheduled to transit the P.C. in a few days. The P.C. has reduced transits due to lack of water. Any word on board about delays in the crossing?

My understanding is that the water issue only affects the old canal. We’re going through the new canal, but I will post if there’s any problems.

If anyone is interested, the cutoff for the MTP luncheon was 381 days. With 799 days, I am the most traveled passenger on the ship. My DH and I have been enjoying our breakfast in Sabatini’s, one of the perks for being number one.

By any chance do you know if they extended the invitation to the 2nd & 3rd place travelers also?
