Here is the latest update to the Dry Docks, Charters & Groups information.

Not much activity since the February update, but there are a few gaps in sailing schedules so I have included most of them as 'Possible Charter' until more information can be found.

For any errors, I apologise in advance!

 

As usual, any information you can provide on upcoming Dry Docks, Charters or Groups, then please post to this thread and I will update the information in the next file.

Do you know if the Oosterdam dry dock will include any refresh or changes? I have read a several posts where passengers have commented that the ship is looking a bit shabby and needs a refresh. How can we find out if this is just a mechanical dry dock or something more substantial?

 

I am looking at a summer 2024 cruise on this ship, but I am hesitant based on recent reviews.

Looks like she is scheduled for 12-days in October for her 4th Special Survey, or 20-year drydocking. This is the time required to complete the docking/undocking, and the hull and mechanical inspections and maintenance.

 

In addition, you will have crew and owner's contractors completing maintenance work on the outer decks and in the hotel spaces - deck coverings, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, etc. Due to the short drydocking and Carnival's massive debt load, I highly doubt they have capital funding available for any major modifications.

 

So post drydock, the ship should be reasonably refreshed, but I wouldn't expect any changes.
