Well we are on the way home.

Things we learned.  At the Rotterdam Rsil Station if you buy a group ticket (discounted) for 2 or more it doesn’t permit you to get to platform and nail after 9 (non-commute time).  We only had to wait 15 minutes and ther was an EC Express train waiting for us.

United’s Lounge and they directed us to  Cafe that had been turned into a makeshift lounge.

Very crowded but finally found a place to sit.  Offerings are limited and very disappointing for a lounge experience

Did you also take the subway rather than the street tram from Rotterdam Cruise port to Rotterdam Central Station? I had always planned on using the street tram in Rotterdam until your trip report.

Yes the tram stop is about 200-300 feet further down from Tram.  We found  it easy with 4 of us and 4 suitcases and carry one.

For those considered Celebrities Shuttles.

When we left the ship at 7:45 there was a line of 500-750 waiting to board busses.  Not sure what was causing delays as ther were 3 or 4 busses in the lot.

Still at AMS.  Flight had a mechanical issue and running about 1 hour 20 minutes so far.

One of those delays they keep pushing back 30 minutes

Is this going to delay getting to any connecting flights in the US?

We stopped using Celebrity shuttles post Covid and now book only private transport to and from the ship. In US ports we use Uber for our transports.

Not for us but many connecting to Asia and western destinations are affected.   They say one we are airborne the will begin working on connections for those affected.
