Do you want to weigh-in and that's all---

To keep yourself on track?

Do you want to talk during the week?

Last week was just talking to myself.

Know if your away you can't talk but if home you can.

I know there's only a few of us for now.

Is that why you're not talking?

You have to let me know. what you want.

Good morning Belle,

I for one need to keep coming back.  Otherwise I'd have to pay weight watchers😁.  There's something about being accountable to others that works for me.  You would think that I could do that for myself.  I tend to lie to myself but not to others.  The big lie is "it doesn't have that many calories so I'll just eat one".

This week I'm down 1 pound.  Starting to slow down, but it always does.  I have until August before cruise so I'm ok right now.  I hope to be more active in the coming days also.  Hope everyone has a good week....Susan

Hi everyone!  I went out with friends last Friday after having a good weigh-in the day before.  Well, I set myself back a week 😞  I should know not to go out with friends on a Friday in Wisconsin - fish fry, old fashioneds, and ice cream drinks are not good for my diet.  Also didn't help that we went from beautiful 80 degree weather to snow this week which prevented me from getting out to walk.  Today my weight is the same as las week, so no loss for me, womp womp.  Buuuut I am seeing a difference in the mirror and in how my clothes fit so I'll take those non-scale victories and be better this week!  I'm still (barely) on track to meet my goal by our cruise day so it's not all bad.  Wishing everyone a good week and happy scales next Thursday!  Congrats on the loss Susan and hope you're doing good Belle!

Belle absolutely need to continue.   I still haven’t gotten back on track.  Working on stressors rather than wt at this time.   Jazzper  is doing okay but definitely slowing down descent am walks but sleeps all day and down to short walks in evening - so I have to walk inside dog park (Jazzper just sits and count my laps )   — needed new garage door open, keypad and springs   Then to top all that got a letter from a collection agency concerning a medical bill  - assume it was the ambulance bill that was never sent to Medicare.

until I can clear my mind I don’t think my sugar cravings will go away or at least be manageable.
clothes still fit BUT won’t for much longer.

Glad you all want to stay here. Wish we could the "old timer's" back

doesn't matter if gained or lost. Need new people too.

I'm worried about JO. She and husband have had some illness before.

Jo come in and tell us you're alright at least.

Susan--Congrats on the pound loss. Yes, think  we all need something to keep

us accountable whether we're having a good week or bad, more loss's, less gains.

Mt--1st glad got back on track after your fun night out and didn't have a gain this week.

Also great you see a difference and your clothes fit better. You made a goal for your cruise

which is good but remember no matter how much you lose it is less than you are now.

Izena--Sorry you're having a lot of stress in your life right now. Also, sorry that Jazzper isn't

up to par. Glad he is still walking in the morning. I wouldn't want to walk in the morning

and night too I'm not!🙁 Sorry your having trouble eating right, and sugar is calling you....

calling me too. At least your walk everyday.  You get exercise to help with eating to much. I don't.

Yes, I'm having a hard time getting on track after cruise. Feels like I'm eating and

snacking more at home than I did on the ship for 40 days. Next cruise is in May is only a 10 day

should be able to stay on track. Trouble is like Izena have to get back on track.

My problem is evening snaking, sweets, food choices not to bad.

Well everyday I'm trying to do better being aware helps me/you not gain a lot if gaining, less than

if you weren't aware.

Will get back to losing even if it's slow. My problem slow loss's which at times makes me

eat the wrong things because I think I should be losing faster. Should just be happy with

slow loss's and not have any gains.

Have a good Friday and weekend. Hope you come in this weekend and say how you're doing.

Another weekend is here.

Do you find that weekends are harder to follow your eating plans then

 the weekdays?

Or is it the same--every day is a hard day?

What is harder for you--Daytime or nighttime?

I definitely find weekends harder. Seems every weekend we have something going on - dinner with friends, birthday parties for the grandkids, dinner theater tickets, etc.  Week days are easier for me to stick to my routine so I try to be really good during the week and do the best I can on weekends.

Beautiful weather this weekend.  Can tell it’s warmer weather.  I have had to step over copperhead snakes on daily walk on trails.  They are poisonous but not aggressive-  my experience is will bite a dog if the dog gets in their face or if they’re stepped on.   Walked 2 miles this morning in neighborhood.  Going to plant 2 rose bushes in front  flowerbeds.

im getting excited,  leave Thursday for cruise.   Leave out of Seattle and cruise around PUGET sound. All outdoorsy activities.

Belle so glad you’re back.  I think it is easier to eat better on a cruise.  Easy to incorporate activities even if just walking the decks and using stairs -  I don’t bring. Candy nor will I buy any on the cruise - sweets in buffets don’t taste right so not as tempted.

I think we all got spoiled during Covid when everyone was isolated. This board was very busy.

I also miss some of the regulars.

JO just drop a quick hi so we know you are all right.

JAN  how are you?

I'm back!  We had a wonderful time with all the kids.  We did a lovely vow renewal and everyone cried (so it was a sucess!).  The cruise director was the one that did the renewal and she was lovely - even she cried.  We spent a lot of time together - I think we had dinner together every night except one.  I just loved watching all the kids interact.  My 8 year old grandson was terrified of doing certain things before the cruise - We did caves in Bermuda - he was not a fan, but got through it.  We also did dolphins and he was terrified before and ended up wanting to do it again as he had a wonderful time - he has now asked when we can all go again.  Numerous people hid ducks all over the ship and seeing how it was spring break for schools in the NE there were tons of kids that found them - my grandson was so happy with kinding them!

I'm sure I am up a few pounds or more.  We ate alot, drank alot, but we also walked alot and were actie most days (I did play in the casino, and I think I came home with more than I went with.)

We got home Friday night and on Saturday afternoon we had two policemen at our front door.  My DH's sister passed away that morning at home in her sleep in Michigan.  It is very sad.  We are now trying to get a hold off family members.

Hope everyone has a good week - Jan

Hello you three on this Sunday.

MT-- I hope you had a good weekend. I know everything is always

planned for the weekends and always has food and drink. It's hard

at times not to eat to much. We want to be with our friends and families.

Izena-- you do so good at walking everyday bur snakes! Happen to me once

when walking (million years ago) on the road thought it was a stick--then it moved

and so did I--Fast!

Have fun on your cruise. How long is it? Yes, I really don't eat that much on a cruise

to what you can eat plus you do walk a lot. Know you'll do well.

Jan--Welcome Back. Glad you had a good time with the family. You did so many nice adventures.

You got your grandson hooked on cruising. If did gain, will come off fast I hope, water weight.

In the casino you came home with more money that's great!

I'm sad for your husband to hear about his sister after coming home from a nice cruise.

Well really anytime is a bad time but after a trip it puts a sadness around it. Tell him I'm

sorry for his loss.

Jo ---Still waiting to hear from you. Are you alright?

Wishing us all a good week of eating right and trying to get some kind of exercise.

Belle - I ate 3 (very small) reeses peanut butter cups today - I need to stop.  Difficult to get back into the swing of things after a cruise.  Our next one is the middle of July so I really want to be down a pound or a dozen pounds.

Hope everyone is having a good week.  Jan
