It’s way too small. You have to get in line at least an hour or more ahead of time if you want a seat. They can’t move the show because the band is contracted with Syd Normans. What they need to do is offer more shows throughout the week. It’s a great show though. The concierge can no longer reserve spots for Haven pax. There were too many complaints. Surprised about storage, we had tons between walk in closet, cubbies everywhere could store for ten people all out of site. Nice to have elevator for quick movement.

We never wait and typically have it to ourselves or just a couple of passengers.

Still one of the greatest "rock" albums ever!! I'd love to see this show, but I'm sailing Joy next in July and I'll have to settle for the Beatles in the Cavern Club. Meet the Beatles was actually the first album I owned, but my father gave it to me when I was 9.

At least this is true for public decks, not sure about balcony decks.

They are aware of slippery decks and not putting priority on this issue sooner. Big safety issue here. And I'm sure she is not the only one this happened to.

I wonder if it’s up to the Concierge weather s/he offers to seat you by going in the back entrance? Agree about the small venue for this show. It’s outstanding and really should be in a bigger venue. Just not sure where given there’s audience interaction as part of the show. That would be harder in a big venue. For me, this is at the tippy-top of the shows NCL offers. On the Joy in Feb/March they let us go in from the Haven (secret back entrance) and each time we took up more then 75% of the available seating. Really small venue. Anyway, the people in line were not very happy, but in my mind, you pay for the Haven to get perks, and this was one of them. On Joy they did Rumors 2x, and 80s prom party, and one other night but I forget at this point... (and it was a 15 day cruise)

Yeah, Haven guests can/should board early, have your own restaurant, get escorted to tenders early, and have reserved seating in a massive theater, but other passengers will still get on the ship, still have plenty to eat at other restaurants, still make it on the tenders, and still get a seat in a theater. Not the same for Syd Norman's. Sorry. 15

By the same token, since Syd Norman's cannot provide seats for everyone, no one should be allowed to get in line prior to the doors opening either.

I also get into the other restaurants at times that they tell you are not available or have no reservations left, that is another perk of the haven. You get what you pay for is what I say, but again, we can disagree.

Rare cruiseny4life Posted May 4, 2023 #297 Share Posted May 4, 2023 Oh thank you for the review of Hidden Gems! We've tried three times and struck out three times (twice the ship didn't get to Bermuda, once the weather didn't cooperate). It sure looks, and sounds, like exactly what we want. We'll keep it on our list and eventually have a memorable day. Appreciate you keeping us updated on your cruise.

I will answer this simply by saying there are many haven perks that are not listed on paper.
