Apparently the stuff is pretty expensive by  the bottle... I'd compare it to Don Julio 1942, but maybe a bit smoother...

sorry- didn’t read until end of the thread to get my answer. Do you eat the stalk? I love artichokes, but have never seen it prepared this way

I wish that I could've gotten a picture, but there was this guy in Extra Virgin just now that reminded me of Vinnie Barbarino from Welcome Back Kotter... The shirt buttoned down halfway, the wide white leather belt, the tight jeans, the hair, sunglasses, and even the Barbarino strut... You would have had to see it for yourself...
