VISTA bar menu with pricing

If someone currently onboard or recently onboard the VISTA could please post copies of the bar menu with pricing, particularly for the Founders bar and the mixology drinks.  Wondering if these are included in the prestige beverage package?

TIA

I asked the same question yesterday and some kind person posted the drinks and wine lists with prices.   Perhaps you can refer to my post ?  but right now I will go looking for it myself and copy it if I can.

Thank you - I have seen, and posted the bar menus, for the general bars but I have not seen the one for the Founders Bar on VISTA  with their mixology drinks.  That is new and so not posted on website nor, have I found, on any of the VISTA reviews....

Thanks - I already did and asked Mauibabes (but he doesn't drink and did no go to Founders Bar)......I am sure someone who is sailing will update all of us on the mixology drinks and if they are included on the Prestige Package.

We will be on the Vista in July and I would love to see a copy of bar pricing as we are deciding what beverage package to do. If anyone could post or be so kind as to tell me where to look for a copy I’d be so appreciative.

This is for the regular bar menus...

This is for premium spirits that are not included in any package

House select is just wine by the glass/beer  at lunch & dinner

If you drink spirits  you would need the Prestige package   which  is the same wine by the glass/beer/ spirits anytime

If you drink more than 4-5 drinks  a day the Prestige package  would probably work  for you

If you pay as you drink  then remember to add 20% gratuity on to the menu price

Unfortunately most menus did not have any pricing due to the special event. Only bottles were priced. Just the Maritinis had prices on the menu.

We have the Premium Drinks package included for our cruise. Does anyone know if this includes all drinks, any time throughout the cruise? Thank you.

Umm, mostly.   ALL and NEVER are dangerous words because there are ALWAYS exceptions.

On O most mixed drinks are included, but there are some especially fine scotches for example that are excluded.  Likewise, the specialty restaurants may have wines by the glass that are not included.  Exceptions however are few and the included spirits include for the most part things I’d drink at home.

included wines fall in the realm of the ‘okay’.  It’s best to take an open mind and work your way down the list, soon enough a favorite, probably nothing you’ve ever heard of will present itself.

The premium drink package does include drinks any time through out the cruise.  There are a few top shelf special liquors that are not included.

Having had the Prestige Beverage package (Premium), we made a habit of telling the server that we had the Prestige package and asking was a particular drink included. That little question never failed to clarify the situation, even particular wines (everywhere) or particular liquors (Toscana) or beers (Red Ginger).

Remember that with this package you can specify your preferred liquor - Grey Goose Vodka in my Bloody Mary.

I think it is more like 3 drinks a day. It is only $30/day to upgrade to the prestige oackage

Was this a TA inclusion? Sounds like a nice bonus.

I have seen the three drinks a day or the 2 drinks a day and even a 5 drinks a day justification for the Prestige Package. None of these are correct IMO. I was drinking Oban 14 scotch @ $18 a glass which includes the 20% gratuity $21.60 per. I would order a double as my pre dinner drink with this package totalling $43.20.
Even 2 glasses of champagne will pierce the $30 a day upgrade.

Actually, have 2 drinks (not wine or beer) including the gratuity is enough to make the drink package work. More than that, you are "ahead".

I agree that you don't have to drink that much to get your money's worth from the Prestige Package.  I like premium tequilas and rarely drink them at home.  I'm not on a cruise to drink rock gut liquor.  I want the good stuff.  The Prestige Package is a good way to get it at what I consider a reasonable price.  The day I start taking cruises to see how much money I can save is the day I'll stop taking cruises.  I never spend more than we can afford but if we have the money, I don't go crazy, but I do want to get what I want.

I don't want a PH with a butler.  If I could take him home, I've got plenty of jobs for him to do around our house but that's not allowed.  I've always been very happy with our room steward.  We're deck people and happy with a regular cabin, but I certainly understand those who want dinner in their cabin and special treatment.

Only ten more days and we'll be on our way to Stockholm.  Can hardly wait for my first margarita.

Sorry I did not take a photo of the bar menus.  Since we purchased the drink package, we paid little attention to the pricing.  But most drinks were in the $12-$15 range.  For us, the simple equations was that if we had 3 or more drinks per day, the drink upgrade package made sense.  For only 1 or 2 drinks, just order what you want and pay the price.

As to the Founders Bar, we befriended one of the bar tenders that worked a few hours, per day, in that venue.  I tried a couple of their unique cocktails, and disliked every sip!  Nothing wrong with the concoctions, but I am primarily a whiskey (straight or on the rocks) or a simple martini kind of guy.  If a drink has more than two items, it is likely not for me.  DW loves her Cosmos (and they make good Cosmos on the Vista) and also likes various adjustments (like a Mango Cosmo or a Guava Cosmo).  But, even she could not get excited by the Founders Bar.  During our pre-dinner cocktail time Martinis was packed.  If the quartet was playing in the Grand Lounge, it also had a good crowd.  Walk through the Founders Bar, and there were usually no more than 6-8 patrons and many of the chairs are along the walkway.

We do understand that some folks really enjoy the "different" kind of cocktails, which are often designed so that you do not taste the booze.  Me,  I want to taste the booze...good booze.  My father used to say, "why ruin a decent scotch with mixers" and that is my philosophy when it comes to scotch, bourbon cognac, etc.

We completely concur.  Our only beverages of choice:  wine with dinner, and before and/or after, classic martini or single malt on the rocks.  Vista bars served these "just right".
