First Elite Offer Received!

Well, we spent too much in the casino and now have our first Elite offer! We seem to have skipped Premier and Ultra...

*Free Balcony

*$300 Fun Play

*DOU Everywhere

*Other benefits

I understand that those with higher cruising status (we are lowly Red but will be Gold on next 7 day sailing) get to access the offer two days earlier.  If you have an Elite offer, is there anything left after the Platinums and Diamonds have gotten their picks or is this false hope?

Can I ask "how much is too much"?   I've always wondered how much we need to spend to start getting better offers.

We had approximately 20K combined points on our last 8 day cruise. Mind you, that’s points, not dollars. I don’t even want to know what that amounts to in dollars 😂

A point is earned for every $2.50 spun (cash/credit) through the machine so $50,000

It isn't how much you spent, it is how much you can spend.  They use marketing demographics, paid data mining to target who get what offers.

It isn't progressive.  Depending on sailings is how fast they are booked.  Australian Elite cruises stay open for a long time.

I have my calendar marked for the 13th of this month (that's when my Elite offers go live apparently).

They've always ended up being dates/departure ports that don't work. Add to that... now they must also be on the Mardi Gras or Celebration (according to Cheryl)  😄

For the most part, my alternate offers (free suite or balcony, a few hundred to a couple thousand in free play or OBC) tend to be better - and apply to MANY more sailings. Though, when I've sailed on my own promo (not Ultra/Premier/etc), I tend to get lost in the mix of all the "invited" guests - and either never have the host come by to say hello or, when they do, it's too late for them to offer up very much (already having specialty dining booked, and no desire for spa treatments/etc). Now, if they'd comp a cabana @ Loft 19, that would be SWEET !  😉

If anyone can post the Elite cruise list that came out today it would be greatly appreciated! My OCD needs to research.

My mailer indicated the offers go live on 7/13. I just checked on my profile, nothing there yet.

On slots that is $50,000 coin-in

Well... $50K huh? 🤮

Our coin out (loss) was minimal (subjective) and a part of our budget. Since we have paid for these Elite cruises by donating our winnings back to Carnival, I fully plan on accepting their offers for free cruises!  Gambling isn't for everyone, but its a part of our entertainment fund on a cruise.  Our previous casino offers have been basic at best, definitely nothing of this caliber.  And as mentioned, we've never had a getaway, premier, or ultra offer.

On another site we can't mention here that rhymes with caselook someone had access on 11th and is complaining about the offers being "trash" and all in 2025.  Doesn't bother me, gives me something to look forward to although I would love to depart this Saturday!

Today was my early access day and most of the offers are for later this fall or next year.  I already have cruises booked through the end of next year.  Unless they add some more options, I won't be booking any of the Elite cruises this time.

Enlighten me - what does "early access" relate to? Being Diamond, we always have early access to online check-in.

I agree with other posters - our "other" casino offers are much better than the elite offering the op got.  I tend to stay away from casino cruises as the casino is too busy for me.  Getting a machine is a hassle most of the time.  I usually take "lesser" offers (still free balcony, obc and casino cash) so I can actually get to play the machines I like.
