2025 Alaska and South America itineraries due out the end of July. 🤞

I am anxiously waiting to see if they will release the South America itineraries.   My TA told me that if they do, she should be able to see it a day or two beforehand, but so far, nothing yet.

Well, according to Coral, the South America itineraries are supposed to be release on 7/26 for Elite members, but today is 7/25 and nothing is posted.  

When I see it, I will believe it; otherwise, it's just a rumor or prediction.

Our TA received notification from Princess last week that the South America cruises will be available to book for Elites on July 26th, 8 am PST.  And available for others

on July 27th.

 

Btw, they are not available to view until they are available to book.

Onboard the Island now. While waiting to talk to a Future Cruise Consultant, I heard him tell the two passengers he was helping before me, that the SA cruises would come out Thursday, July 27th.  He didn’t mention anything about Elites.

@MplsYogini We sailed on the Royal Princess on May 2, 2022, on a 12-day Alaska itinerary.  We also were a bit concerned that it was "too early"--but it was absolutely fabulous!  Yes, it was cold at times--but as a fellow Minnesotan, you can likely handled the temps just fine.  The scenery was absolutely amazing, with snow covering every mountain!  We saw otters, a couple of bears, sea otters, seals/sea lions, mountain goats (and babies) and tons of eagles.  We took a whale watching trip out of Icy Strait Point and were thrilled to see many humpback whales (pretty close up!) and even got to see them bubble net feeding twice!  We also saw a pod of five orcas as we were rounding the southern end of Vancouver Island.  We had very little rain--but did come prepared for it, just in case.  My husband and I loved May so much that we booked back-to-back cruises on the Royal Princess for mid-May 2024 . . . and we can't wait!

I agree with @Cobber76  We went to Alaska the beginning of May last year, and it was absolutely beautiful. That said,  no one can predict the weather…

You can see the Alaskan routes in my post 80 where I pasted them. Not the best formatting. But @Coralalso posted links to the files in post 84. 

it is my understanding that only those who log in with an elite account on Aug 2 at 8 am pdt will see these Alaska sailings.

Thank you.  I just saw it and my agent was able to book the cabin for us.  

Not cheap for a balcony, $3700's including taxes per person, but wow, $950 onboard credit per person.  The balcony is still cheaper than what Celebrity and NCL charge.  

 

I don't know if anyone notice, but the Majestic Princess only does this route once during Christmas and New Year from Santiago to Buenos Aires.  It's going back up to the Caribbean in early Jan.

This is a repositioning voyage as the Majestic will be moving to Europe in the spring of 2024.  We are on from LA all the way to Ft Lauderdale.  We received $900 pp OBC on our mini-suite with the Plus Package.

Interesting that I can see these cruises (not logged in) even though I am not Elite yet. 

 

I also noticed that the difference in Standard and Plus for 2025 is $80/day and the drink prices included is up to $20/day. Sounds like the price might be rising again.....

 

The onboard credit amount though is really crazy for 2025....might have to think about other cruise possibilities in addition to the one I was looking at....  😆

I agree.  The OBC is crazy.  I am also looking at 2025 cruises.

You don’t have to buy Plus package to get the obc, right?

No, we didn't buy the Plus package and still get the $942 OBC per person.  I was shocked to hear that.  We have the standard package as we don't drink other than specialty coffee so I purchase the coffee card for that.  

My agent said the promo will end on 8/2.

My TA was able to book the suite category we wanted for the 51-day SA cruise, but we couldn't get the exact cabin we wanted.  Turns out that this voyage is being sold in segments, so the cabin we wanted is being held for the first segment.  Dang.
