Are you a member of CARP. Contact them now and ask for the same benefit as our cousins south of the border. (up to $200us OBC) per cruise

Bob

Canadians can join AARP and get the OBC.

Not really expecting CARP to carry the discount as they don't match much of AARP benefits.

CARP has just over 330,000 members compared to AARP's 38 million members, and AARP's magazine and bulletin sent to its members are the two largest-circulation publications in the United States. I doubt that CARP would be of any serious interest to HAL from a marketing perspective.

Is the AARP OBC only on new bookings? (we already have a TA booked in the fall of 2024)

It's only new bookings,  but if you booked very recently you could consider re-faring it (essentially cancelling and rebooking) to get the OBC.

Some lines will give you the  deal if you are already booked

Best to ask your TA or call  direct

All they can do is say no

Yes Alberta Quilter I found out I should join for $17us to get up to$200 based on the length of each one of our HAL cruises.

Alas you have up to 7 days after booking to give HAL a AARP #

Many people have been able to get the credit added to cruises that have been book much longer than the 7 days you have stated. There is al long thread on the HAL board about it.
