OleMissSamfordMom Posted August 2, 2023 #26 Share Posted August 2, 2023 I don’t know if any are ever added, but on our sea day they’ve got one from 10-12 and another 4-6.

Rare Vineyard View Posted August 3, 2023 #28 Share Posted August 3, 2023 So far we only have 4-6 time slots. I really do hope they add midday on a sea day.

Highly unlikely that they add during midday when ship is busiest. Get on waitlist people due cancel, oversleep,.
sarahjaneb Posted August 11, 2023 #30 Share Posted August 11, 2023 Are classes not available on all ships? We are on the Sirena and there have never been cooking classes listed on the Other Options tab since we booked 6 months ago.

sarahjaneb Posted August 11, 2023 #35 Share Posted August 11, 2023 Wow, that Culinary Center offering looks like an ideal fit for me. Too bad the Sirena doesn’t have the capacity but thrilled other sailings have cooking to look forward to!
Rare slw207693 Posted August 13, 2023 #36 Share Posted August 13, 2023 The reason the classes fill up so quickly is they only have 1 person at each cooking station instead of two. So only 12 spots for each class.

I might be wrong but I think the Culinary Centre on Vista is larger than on the other two ships and has more stations...Plus now that Covid is over they may well have gone back to 2 per station on Riviera and Marina. britfan Posted August 13, 2023 #39 Share Posted August 13, 2023 I did one of culinary classes on Riviera just a few weeks ago: 1 person per station. However, the chef made a note of saying that if somebody wanted in a class that was closed, they should just show up at the designated time in case of no shows. At that point, there's not enough time to call people on the waitlist and be able to keep to their schedule. Our class had 2 vacancies. Also, I noticed that more classes were added after the date that I originally signed up online.
Rare LHT28 Posted August 13, 2023 #40 Share Posted August 13, 2023 You would think if a couple sign up they could use one station 🤔

Either way, it was a very enjoyable class. Even my husband loved it.
Hambagahle Posted August 14, 2023 Author #43 Share Posted August 14, 2023 we are now post-Covid. Or anyway Covid is treated like a normal flu here. So no reason not to go back to two per station IMO.
