Will on Celebration in April 2024 need hotel for two nights, any reviews on Holiday Inn good and bad

I've stayed at this hotel numerous time over the years, usually not related to a cruise. It's likely the hotel closest to the ships and it's directly across the street from Bayside Marketplace.

The hotel is older but has been refurbished. Parking lot is small but it doesn't sound like you'd have a car. Without a car it's possible to get from the airport to the hotel via Metrorail to Government Center station and then switch over to the free MetroMover train to the College/Bayside station. You'd need a taxi or rideshare to get from the hotel to the port.

I stay there whenever I cruise from Miami. It is older but clean. I actually don't leave the hotel and just eat at the restaurant there. They're always willing to call a car or taxi for me the morning of the cruise. I've never had a bad experience.

Thank you for the link. We have never cruised out of Miami and we are coming in a day early So we would like to know if anyone has stayed here and is it a fairly safe area?

A few vids to help you out Paula

Stayed there about six times over 20 years strictly for cruises.  Great location but hotel has really gone downhill even after the renovation.  Last summer, no AC in room in July.  As you can imagine, it gets really hot.  Best they could do was offer a fan to blow the hot air around.

Also room was right next to the exercise room that was open 24/7.  Person came in to lift weights at 2:00am.  very loud.

I'll be bad in November but will not be staying there this time.
