No Cruise Options out of FLL - June 2024

I searched here as well as the Florida departure boards but I could not find any answers …why are there no options for cruises going out of Fort Lauderdale in June 2024? The month of June is blocked when searching for cruises out of FLL in 2024.

There are no Royal departures from PE between 5/10/24 and 7/15/24.

I called RCI for help and they confirmed no cruises out of FLL in June. There are a few sailings in May and July but not many. Looks like those ships are repositioning to Miami or Cape Liberty during that time frame. Construction at the port or RCI terminal perhaps?

Try Princess.   They have lots of departures.

FLL is now a secondary port for Royal.  They have shifted most of their sailings to Miami and use FLL primarily during the winter months when they have a lot more ships sailing the Caribbean and they need the additional berths.

They are doing dredging work at port Everglades that has required cruises to limit schedules.

Agree, happens over the yrs and is Summer time. I started Royal Cruises they went out of Miami and rare for Ft Lauderdale, Flipped to FLL, now more back to Miami.

I read an article just this morning that Port Everglades is going to be undoing some serious construction/upgrade projects in the near future.  I can't find the article now so, I can't give specifics.  So maybe the Terminal is closing due to upgrade/construction for a month or so.
