Fort Lauderdale Princess On Shore Suites Lounge

Mention was made of this some time ago.  Is it still operating, and how and when do you find out if you can access it?  I am asking as our next cruise out of FLL will be in a full suite and I will need to know if the hotel to cruise port shuttle will know where to drop us off.  Also it would be nice to know what facilities and serviced are available in the lounge.

Departed FLL in July.  No suite offsite lounge was offered to me.  Hotel shuttle took us to port.  Wove through the queue to get to the suite/Elite Lounge.  First to board (after in-transit).  No escort.  Ordinary boarding experience.

I kind of doubt those FLL shuttle services that run around the hotels, or the hotel-branded ones, do anything but go back and forth to the piers.

We don't book suites, but I too am curious to know if this off-site check-in location is still in operation.  When they launched it, we had a couple of reports and then crickets.  One would think some suite guests would mention it.  OTOH, this is a very quiet time of year for Princess out of Port Everglades.  There are no current cruises.  I'd look for this service to start up again later in the Fall.

It comes prior because the check-in is an offsite location on 17th St.  Near Terminal 2.

Interesting. Any chance it's in that office building on 17th housing the Princess Medallion folks, right across from the Renaissance hotel?

More or less.  Not exactly across the street.  This one:

Hard to imagine Princess maintaining an off-site facility for long term if they don't have any cruises...

Why do you think Carnival Corp is going Chapter 7?

Come on!  You gotta tell more than just the video!  Give us the details. 😜

Anyone else get to do this?  Did the already stop this?

I got a call the day before my cruise for the invite. They take your luggage and bring it to the ship separately. Then when it's time to board they take you over in a shuttle and you are escorted through the check-in lines. The best part is you can book the Sanctuary from the lounge.

I don't know if they are still doing it. It was only 35 people that they invited.

I am hoping that they still do this. Anyone?!?

There are no Princess cruises out of Port Everglades right now.  Maybe it was a trial and we will have to wait until the ships return in the fall to see if it will be offered next season.

Good point.  I sail in December so I need to wait until they are back from Europe.  🙂
