I have them going back to Elation. And the Harley Davison poker chip from Juneau. I pick those up in as many ports as possible. I got Ketchikan last year. Small inexpensive souvenirs $13-17 for the ornament and 2-5 on each chip.

Getting harder to find the ships either as ornament or magnet.  Maybe they’ve been out but haven’t seen them as often on Carnival.  We also collect $5 casino chips and turn them into a magnet.  Carnival no longer has ship specific casino chips so that collection has come to an end.

At least NCL doesn't have those slimey sugar straws. I do NOT like those!

Yeah. For those not in the know I’ve been carrying my own straws since the start of the ongoing straw strike of 2019. I keep them with my valuables but haven’t needed them on this ship.

Have you used the ketchup?  It's not a St. Greg review without the ketchup!

On our NCL 9 night out of New Orleans over New Years 2022/2023, we could not catch a single Bowl game, even missed the National championship game. Yet in October out of Galveston on carnival Breeze, they showed college football in Red Frog Pub, even setting up extra chairs to handle the extra people. i hated watching only Soccer snd Rugby on NCL

Just to clarify the NFL situation, all of the games are shown on the ships, either in the bars (District Brew House, The Local/O'sheehans, depending on ship), sometimes on the big screen at the pool and in your stateroom. Thursday Night, 3 games on Sunday and one on Monday, On my Prima T/A last October, the games were on around 2am as we crossed the Atlantic. The Sunday day games are the ones that the network consider their main game of the week, with their national broadcasters, So if you are looking for certain regional games, you probably won't get them,

And as far as the carpet fish, they removed them from the Jewel on it's last drydock but I believe the other Jewel class ships still have them, and possibly the Breakaway and Getaway (haven't been on either of those for a few years). The Prima has the new 'arrows' pointing forward on their carpet.

Hard to believe all those Sunday departures I’ve watched out of NOLA they weren’t even getting saints games.

3 games on Sunday isn’t all the games. But it is good to know they show the prime time games.

Speaking of that for anyone interested Saint Greg’s NOLA trips will resume posting on the CC New Orleans board on September 10th. NOLA hotels, food and drinks will be in there. As well as some Carnival Valor arrivals..in the winter some breakaway departures. And some other ships. RCL, American cruise line (river cruises). And some occasional surprises.

The port breakaway leaves out of which is right by the food court in the river walk mall is the best place I’ve seen to watch a ship leave from.
