Cruising with baby

Has anyone cruised with a six month old baby. Can you offer advice and tips.

Am going on a cruise in the first week of September with my 8 month old. What queries do you have?

Can equipment be hired on board ie steriliser, can baby go into bars, theatre etc. is there a baby room in kids club

No equipment.

Bars, theater can.

Baby club is from 1-3 years, maybe they allow you to come for baby time.

The sign says Baby Club under 3.  You can take the baby there and stay with him during those hours.  Baby care is when you can leave the child with them, maybe go to a show.

No sterilisers onboard.  While a baby CAN go into a bar and theater.... why would you unless they were sleeping?  (Which they won't be in the theater with all of the noise).

While I can't find the on line information, I know in the past (pre Covid) that MSC has had equipment available in the on board Chicco store that could be borrowed (strollers, car seats, etc,;).  I don't know if this is still available.

 

Aa far as bringing a child into a bar or the theater, it will depend on your child.  I had a daughter that as an infant could (and still can at forty) sleep soundly with a two hundred piece marching band performing in front of her.
