That is surprisingly delightful. It's like a chocolate mint flavored vodka. I tried some without the chocolate rim to be sure that wasn't what I was tasting, and indeed that is the vodka with that flavor.

Today is our final sea day before our last port of call. 

 

Looks like I have to stop procrastinating and do some laundry or else end up doing it on my last day.

 

Beyond that I have nothing on the agenda but then I haven't looked at the daily programme yet.

The crab cake was not good at all. Very mushy and had no flavor. Blah.

 

My mom did not care for her starter either. 

 

The duck was on me, I should not have ordered it. The pie part was good. I donated the duck my mom did not care for it either. Over cooked.

 

The carbonara was very good.

I've really enjoyed having a sit down lunch choice each day and a revolving menu each day. Two big plusses for Cunard. Tomorrow I will probably skip it so I can enjoy one final tea time.

That is the joy of it, but I can see why it was not for you.

As one who doesn’t eat eggs (not an allergy, just massive dislike), I think having two desserts with custard is not very good planning.

I'll know what not to order next time. I really wanted the Kung pao cauliflower but it was the carbonara that almost got axed and that was the best dish of the meal.

 

Only four hours until supper...unless I get drawn to the buffet at tea time again 😋.
