The shows opened up for our Dec 26th cruise.  Do they usually announce the headliner once on board.  I can reserve the aqua show, skating, comedy and mamma mia - are some missing?  Do they still have quest, etc.

Mike is onboard what I think is the first of the short allure cruises. 5 that you can book. The 5th was the blue man which maybe they cut when they sent to miami. I walked out it was so bad. Suspeised me how bad. About saving the planet and songs all gloomy.

Headliners are not known until a day or two before.

Blue Planet right? I think Mike (or maybe someone else) said it was still on board. @OCSC Mike??

Have you seen it. Not any toe tapping songs. Some people behind fake rocks flipping back and forth on a trampoline I could even do. Super imposed I saw a few whales. There was a screen supposed to come down but it broke on my showing and I hot footed it out of there. Technical difficulties.

Look at the current sailing in the app.

I did get off the 1st sailing from PC Monday but that would be my answer.

All the above answers cover pretty much everything. There was still Blue Planet on my sailing (didn’t see it) but it was a one-off 5-nighter. Not sure how they can cram everything into 3/4’s so it may be gone. Also, b/c mine was a 5N & went to Cozumel/CocoCay, the schedule for mine won’t help with future cruises.

For things like The Quest & Love & Marriage, just check the app for current sailings over the next few weeks. I’d think they’d settle into a pretty standard schedule doing the same exact 3/4 itineraries for the next 8 months.

how do you check on the app and find current sailing

I don’t think they have an open night/venue for a headliner.

The app shows the current sailing so you can look at the entertainment schedule for a 4 night. At the end of the week you’ll be able to check for the three nights as well.

I have an upcoming 4/3 night booked and entertainment has opened. There was n headliner option listed. Every night was taken up with some type of entertainment experience.

Got it - that was easy - thanks for being so helpful

No problem. It actually used to be easier. The last app update kind of buried the feature by making you click on “let’s add it now” since you’re not actually adding a booked cruise but that’s Royal IT for ya.

I'm on the 4 day next week. You can book all 5 shows (Mama Mia, Aqua, Ice, Comedy, & Blue Planet). It is tough trying to squeeze in everything in 4 days so I opted to not reserve Blue Planet based on the reviews I've seen.

thank you - we will be on a 7 day starting dec 26th - that's why I thought maybe theyll have a headliner because they are only showing mamma mia for 3 shows that week.

You're on a one-off 7-nighter for NYE then. Allure is doing short cruises besides yours (and any other unique holiday cruises) so it will be hard for anyone to help more than they have already.

Yes, I have seen it a couple times. I happen to like it, but I completely get why others may not. I am kinda hoping for it to show up on the three day cruises, because if I am that busy seeing shows, that will be less time my butt is in the casino. However, just looking at my app it is not listed for the three day cruise that happens this Friday, nor for my 3 night sailings in the future, so that show may only happen on the 4 night sailings. (It is listed on the 4 night sailing that is currently in progress)

On Allure now for a 4 day short cruise.  BluePlanet is getting panned so we didn't go.  Aqua show is fabulous (3rd time on Allure) and always worth it. Momma Mia was good buy very long 2+ hours with an intermission.  If you can do a matinee (which I wish we did) it is better than how long it is...I guess only if you are old like me and get tired after a long day in the sun. Love and Marriage and Quest I could only see on the ap a day or 2 before...

I love Blue Planet.  My favorite show on Allure next to the aqua show.   No thanks on Mamma Mia.  Once was enough.   But the aqua, ice, comedy, and BP I can see over and over.

Blue Plant - good enough, a bit preachy

Momma Mia - People like it, long...

Aqua Show - very good(the "clown" could go) --- Watch practice - it is better

Ice Show - below average for RCCL(Yes, it's RCI)

Comedy - depends week to week

Love and Marriage - same as comedy

Quest - tiresome, better if you have co-traveler on the floor

The Ice Show is gone. It was “Monopoly”.
They replaced it with “I Skate” calling it Blades. Before C, all the ships had a show and an “I Skate”, where the performers chose their own music and choreography.
The Aqua Show is the best in the fleet, “Oceanaria”.
Mama Mia is great.
Blue Planet is one I can only see once or twice a year.
