With apologies for the delay, but here is the latest update to the Dry Docks, Charters & Groups information.

There has been some activity since the July update, so check your dates!  There are a few gaps in sailing schedules so I have included most of them as 'Possible Charter' or 'No Itineray Published' until more information can be found.

For any errors, I apologise in advance!

 

As usual, if you can provide any information on upcoming Dry Docks, Charters or Groups, then please post to this thread and I will update the information in the next file.

We weren't interested in joining! Curious about potential impact on public areas.

I hope not as we have had this cruise booked for a long time. Checked HAL website and it is available for public booking.

When I came across the post in Twitter, I immediately checked Kazu's list, and saw that you were booked for that cruise, @seagarsmoker. 

 

I believe that if HAL chooses to take charter bookings, (or even groups), they should advise those who are already booked.  I know that personally, I would NEVER go on that cruise, even if it was only a group booking, and would cancel.  However, that's just me and my political leanings. 

 

If it's a full charter, well, that's a different story, and between you and HAL.  I have no idea how that will work for you.

I agree that HAL should let us know ASAP if they are chartering the entire ship. That being said, we have been on cruises before with group bookings and never knew the group was onboard. 

No one besides myself has posted in Meet n Greet thread, so I am guessing HAL has quite a few cabins to sell.

From @Crew News:regarding Nieuw Amsterdam upcoming dry dock:

 

He shared some of the upgrades coming in the December 2023 drydock:  All new Crow’s Nest windows, remodeled Fitness Center, add Rolling Stone, new carpeting and furniture, air conditioning and heating upgrades, azipod replacement, and Starlink upgrade are planned.

Thank you for posting - because of this info I've got plenty of time to change to another voyage to avoid a group.  Certain ones do tend to monopolize the crows nest and other venues from time to time which is inconvenient at best, quite frustrating at worst.

Also, a space for Morimoto specialty restaurant included in the Tamarind/ Nami Sushi space. Already booked our table for opening night😃
