Are you scheduled to dock in Amsterdam? We're scheduled to sail the Jewel out of Amsterdam today and woke up to an email not to come to the terminal until further notice due to a disruption at the port. Jewel is at IJmoden (sp?).  It's about 38 min drive from here.  Might be a political disruption.   We'll see.

This cruise ended in Copenhagen today.

9 days till Amsterdam. This leg is all about Norway 🇳🇴

Environmental activist are blocking the port to cruise ships.

We're skipping Bergen to arrive Amsterdam early. Miami is worried about protests at canal locks

I read about the protesters turning away the Jewel.  So sorry you are missing Bergen.  Hopefully all goes well, that or we bus to/from the other port that is about 30 miles away. (Ijmuiden).  See you guys on Monday! (hopefully🙀).

We're on the Jewel and also skipping a port, Alesund, have a sea day, then arrive in Amsterdam a day early, overnight and then debark/embark on the 22nd as planned.

How does arriving early to Amsterdam solve anything? The protesters are not going to know about schedule changes?

Most likely the ships will go to Iljmuiden and the extra time allows to organize transfers.

We're on Jewel and are in the same situation.  Now scheduled to arrive back in Amsterdam a day early on the 21st.  Both Ijmolden and Rotterdam are not available for us.  Ijmoldon is what we did to board on the 10th.   Not easy anyway. They're currently trying to schedule tours for us on the 21st.
