Drinks while on board if your Diamond and Prime

I just became Diamond. I’m prime on Royal, so I go to the casino for my drinks. Sailing Celebrity in 2 weeks. I know they will move me to Elite, but how do you get your 4 drink vouchers ( or don’t you?)

That's not how it works on Celebrity. It's unlimited drinks from a select menu ( in other words not any drink) from 5-7pm at most bars except for a handful and not on embarkation day, nor at any restaurant.

You need to contact Celebrity and give them your time and information so that you will be Elite.  It doesn’t happen automatically.

 

there are no vouchers

 

there is an a Elite, continental breakfast, at one of the specialty restaurants, at which you can get Bellini’s, Bloody Mary’s and mimosas between 8 am and 10 am.

 

from 5-7 you can order from the Elite happy hour menu, available at most bars but not restaurants

Yes the casino will serve you while you are actively gambling, during the hours trey are open, so not when you’re in port and for a while active departure as tge ship must be so many miles offshore for the casino to open.

 

your Captains Club and Blue Chip Club don’t matter, just that you are actively gambling

I like the loyalty program better on Royal.  I don’t find the Celebrity loyalty program of much benefit and I purchase the upgraded drink package and upgraded Wi-Fi when I sail on Celebrity.

Royal issues 4-5 drink vouchers per day for their upper tiers. With the status reciprocity RCCL cruisers look for the same perk when sailing on X.

Actually Diamonds get 4, Diamond Plus get 5 and Pinnacle get 6 drinks loaded on their Seapass cards daily. IMO, each program (CC and CAS) are good. We like the similarities and differences between the two. We pick and choose the perks/benefits we like to use and leave the rest on the table.

It was only in 2017 😁
