Can anyone comment on the costs for drinks on the new Statendam in comparison to Celebrity?

If anyone has a bar list could you post it please

They are out of date.  I will share the new one.  Very disappointed, Meomi gone and our favorite Cote du Rhone is not in package 3 but $44. 🤨 Sounds like we have the last of the Meomi unless they restock when we get to Fort Lauderdale.

Here is another bar menu which may be an old one because it lists the cocktail Penicillin, which has a listed ingredient not on the ship.  I will try to find more soon.  I don't recall the bar's name but it is near the atrium on the Eurodam.

I believe current bar lists do not have prices!!! Which I'm sure leads to much asking "Is this covered by my Package?" that must be tedious to the bar servers and tenders!

I agree with you. What is tedious is that HAL makes a menu without pricing, what a joke. Who does that? Of course there are many who would still ask if it's covered even with the pricing on the menu. And then there are a few items that are below the price threshold but not included in any package. The screw top cans of water come to mind and some of the other larger format waters (sparkling and still).

What a relief! So happy to be wrong.

 

I see that Roger @Crew News's photos all seem to have prices -- don't know where I got the idea they'd removed them.

I think for a brief time they didn't  - everyone was asking about the prices.

The last bar menu covering all onboard bars was last published in 2021 and was discontinued in 2023.  The decision to end the standard bar menu was a corporate decision. When I asked last year, a HAL bartender told me that the beverage staff has memorized the prices for all of the drinks and would charge the proper price.  I frowned and he smiled.

 

The only bar menus now are restaurant bars (Tamarind and Morimoto)  and specialty drinks at other bars.

 

Solution #1:  Post a new generic bar menu on the Navigator app. 

 

Solution #2:  On my upcoming cruise, I can locate a friendly bartender (on a sea day or late evening) and update my 2021 generic bar menu with the current prices to share.

Ive never sailed with anyone other than Celebrity so keen to know of any big differences in prices of drinks,excursions and just general costs .

That’s interesting.  We had prices on the bar menus at the Lido and Sea View Bar last October on the Rotterdam.  Quite sure that the pricing was on the specialty restaurants and the MDR menus

10-20% cheaper, especially after the recent price increases on Celebrity.
