Looks like HAL Maasdam to me 🤣

It can't be a Maasdam, it must be an Edam but it's a bit too holey for that.

Emmentaler of the Seas perhaps?

Maasdam is the only ship I can think of that actually shared its name with a cheese.- well, up until the pandemic. Whichever way, I do love cruising. I would go so far to say I am rather fondant of it.

PS: I am aware of Rotterdam cheese, but that is a type of gouda.

I'd never heard of Massdam cheese but my comment about Emmentaler of the Seas was closer to the mark than I realised since Maasdam cheese was created to compete with Emmentaler

Barb "works" in a woolies deli, and they have Maasdam there, so it is almost as familiar to me as fetta or brie.

I often buy Maasdam from Aldi.

For the love of Baby cheeses, I am getting feta up with these cheesy puns.

Yes I feel the same, most of the comment just swiss passed me.

I must try it one day. Our Woolies reorganised their store recently and I'm still trying to work out where all the good cheeses are. Instead of having them in one place they now have a specialist cheese area with really expensive cheeses, the standard block and sliced cheese display, and the rest are on the ends of the prepared meals displays, so these day we tend to go to Harris Farm Markets for cheeses but I don't think I've seen Maasdam there.
