Most Martini bar drinks are covered by the premium package

Correct, I was only referring to the included drink package some recieve at booking. It's priced pretty high to make it an easy choice to pay the extra to upgrade if you wish to enjoy some martinis. But paying the whole balance, $17, is an unnessasary markup. To quote what I overheard a man saying to his wife while looking at the World Bar menu "for that price does it at least include some vasolene".

It seems to me the only reason for having pineapples on your door is so you can invert them when the mood takes you.

Maybe they own a pineapple farm?  Seems plausable.

Breakfast acquired.

Just a little nibble to hold me until lunch.

My favorite treat I've only found on Celebrity is fried bread. It's been missing but turned up again last cruise but sadly it's gone missing again.

Absolutely ghastly. Another reason to choose Cunard. 😀

I need to find another bargain rate but I suppose if they keep having to discount, the product is bound to get watered down.

Good morning everyone.

I didn't sleep great last night. The bed is a little firm but I don't think that was the problem. Sometimes a night of drinking leads to restless sleep with constant vivid dreams and tossing and turning, and that is what happened last night.

I was about to get up around 8 when I finally fell back asleep.

At 10, the captain came on, in the room, to deliver his navigational update. I am pretty sure that is a first. But then, the CD comes on, also inside the room, to tell us about today's activities. He literally went on and on for about five minutes reading off everything including art auctions and diamond and gemstones seminars.

Very tacky. I hope maybe he hit the wrong button, maybe the general announcement button is right next to the emergency announcement button. I have never had these kind of basic fyi messages come inside my cabin and I don't want them to every morning when I am trying to sleep.

Interesting. I’ve never heard the morning announcement in the cabin in celebrity. Very annoying.

I haven't either. This is a first for me although it's only my fifth cruise with them. And it went on for a while not even a quick this is what's happening this was a full on reading of the events.

We are on reflection in May and hope this isn’t a new thing!!!

Don’t they have a TV channel for that sort of stuff? I wonder what time it starts on port days? Even earlier, before arrival presumably?

I think they move it to later in the day closer to sail away.

But an hour in and not even placed my dessert order yet, I was getting antsy. I only have six days and I don't want to spend them at dinner. The trouble is I don't want to do the buffet and that is the only other option.

I think the free desserts at Cafe al Bacio are the best.... the ones in the Oceanview look good but don't usually have a lot of taste.

Coffee time.

They are slammed but I counted five baristas slinging coffee behind that little counter so they are well staffed to handle the crowds.

Enjoying it in the quiet ensemble lounge just away from the madness.

That's a little better. Unless I decide on an afternoon nap.

Yea those have been good. I was going to grab a couple with my coffee but want to wait till lunch to start eating besides the light bite I had for breakfast.

When the chocolate tarts first show up at Cafe Al Bacio I usually get a bag full and store in the room cooler 'fridge' and eat as the cruise progresses. I've been disappointed before hoping they'd come back later in the cruise.

Gonna check on those missing casino benefit minutes then probably head off to the dining room for some lunch or the gym to exercise. Two very different activities just not sure which I'm gonna choose 😅

That sounds delicious. I love the fruit tarts not sure if I've seen the chocolate before. I'll keep an eye out, but just one have to use some sort of self control, a fridge full of tarts quickly escalates to eating a fridge full of tarts for me 🤣

So I don't really understand how this all works. If I could choose between 90 minutes wifi, or 30% off, of course I'm going to choose the 30% off.

Last time I wasn't doing a live, cruise was four days, and one day was key west. Figured 90 free minutes plus one day at full price would be the way to go but when I went to purchase, it still gave a discount.

No discount today. So am I not entitled to the discount? Or should I be asking guest relations for a credit?

The boat was rocking too much for my scale to work this morning. I laid out my clothes in a strategic order based on how well they fit, since some are not going to fit by the end of the week 😅.

Yesterday I was impressed with how well the tightest pants went on.

Today was a struggle.

Lots of steps in though Yesterday.
