With the extension of the Blue Chip casino year to July 2024, i might be able to go up to the next casino tier and get more freeplay for every cruise.
Which specific slot/vp to play that gets me alot of points while losing the least amount of $ (on avg)?

Thx

You earn points based on how much $$ you put in play.  It's not what you win or lose, it's what you risk.

Yup.

But losing less $ enables me to play more, thus more pts.

Thus the question is my OP

In that case, I enjoy Quick Hit Platinum.  $1.50 max spin...and not all those buttons that so many machines have these days.  QH Diamond is in essence the same game.  Enjoy and good luck.

The casinos base their reward earning points and comps on the potential rate of return per dollar played.  Craps is less than BJ.  All table games gives the least points and comps per dollar played.  In slots VP earns less than the regular slots as the potential pay back is more.  Slots may have a return of 85%. VP is around 95%.    I know that people will say that they get a return higher but the machines  are set up for the long term.  Over hundred of thousand plays those machines will end up with that rate of return.   Just like flipping a coin.  Over the long term it will be 50 50 heads and tails.  Even if an edge turns up.  😱🤗

I was told if  you use OBC you won’t earn any points.  I think you will earn points after it is ran thru once.  They want new money.  Don’t know if that is true with all OBC.  I purchased the promo dollars using OBC to get $55 for $50.  I didn’t earn any points when playing that and that was all that I played.  I put the $55 thru the machine once.

I wanted to say... first I'm not a big gambler.     I often use the Slots as a way of getting some off my OBC off the account.      In my experience I have received point while playing OBC.   I've played enough that somehow I hit Onyx level.

You are correct that if you buy the Promo Slot Certificates they did not count toward points.

On the other hand if you play the $5  free Slot they usually offer.   You do not accrue points on the $5 but you do if you won and continue to play.

Does NOT earn tier points:  Free play including promo chips

Earns tier points:  Room charges performed at the machines (no fee) and the table games but the tables charge you a fee if you don't have status

Wow, congrats. Onyx is a difficult tier to achieve!
