avatar133 Posted February 2 #1 Share Posted February 2 (edited) Hi all. We're thinking about on going a back-to-back cruise sometime this year- maybe May? We have 3 adults, so we want separate beds/cabins, so we're thinking about going with either a junior suite for one leg and 2 inside cabins for another, or 2 balconies for both legs. Which do yall suggest on doing? Thanks! Edited February 2 by avatar133
smokeybandit Posted February 2 #2 Share Posted February 2 There are various reasons to do either scenario.

I'm on mariner the one and only 7 days when it arrives in Galveston.. ports arent exciting but new ship to me but then it's doing 4 and 5 days. Harmony frankly was cheaper. I think because its Mariners maiden voyage out of texas. I've got adventure booked out of pc later in the year 8 days then 6 days. What cabin I'd book depends on the ship. On older ships there are a lot of connecting promenade cabins. Newer oasis class for me inside view, I like boardwalk balconies. Agree , many decades ago I did inside cabins ( there were no balconies) but after doing balconies I wouldn’t book less , now we hook suites. yogimax Posted February 2 #6 Share Posted February 2 No real advantage for a junior suite except extra Crown & Anchor points.
Wheels87 Posted February 2 #7 Share Posted February 2 100% agree that the same cabin is the way to go. The added stress of moving rooms in between the B2B kind of takes away from the experience. Be careful...you'll be hooked on B2B! Cheers! Brad

We book the same cabin for B2B just for ease, but separating them for cost is fine, and/or for other upgrades.... One needs to weigh what they want out of both cruises. Rare Tree_skier Posted February 2 #9 Share Posted February 2 Book the same cabin for both legs. That is much more convenient.

We switched rooms on back to back on Celebrity they move everything on hangers to new cabin or suite.
