Hi there. Cruising to Hawaii in December.  Can you walk to place to see from the Port of Honolulu? Any suggestions as to things to do? Thanks

If you take a look at Google Maps, you can see what is close to the port. Not a lot of true Hawaii tourist things to do.

You can walk to Iolani Palace. Make tour reservations on line. You can walk along Ala Moana Blvd and the Ala Moana Beach to Ala Moana Mall. One way 2 1/2 miles. Downtown Honolulu, Waikiki beach area is about a 5 miles walk one way. There are busses that go downtown. Check the bus routes and fares.

State Capitol

State Library

State Archives

Ala Moana Beach Park is 1.5 miles, Waikiki Beach is 3.5 miles.

Ala Moana is a nice beach.  Lots of locals there.  Ride share should be efficient transportation. Waikiki is also nice but when we were there more crowded.

There are only two, Pier 2 and 10/11 (Aloha Tower). Look for your ship in the schedule below.
