The Birds will hop onboard the Encore in Miami on Easter Sunday and call in the Dominical Republic, US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Great Stirrup Cay. This is the Encore’s last Eastern Caribbean cruise of the 2023-2024 season. Following this cruise, the Encore begins a 21-day repositioning cruise through the Panama Canal to Vancouver, British Columbia to begin her Alaskan season. The Encore returns to Miami in November 2023 on her way to a dry dock in Europe, then back to Miami to resume this itinerary through the winter 2024-2025.

Oh my, I did not expect this - 2nd night with no beef entree.  I'll stop commenting now and just wait till the end to count up the score.  I sure hope it doesn't turn out to be no beef entrees on any night.

There was a question about indoor pools. The only indoor “pools” are the fresh water hydrotherapy “pool” in the Thermal Suite (hot, bubbling goodness) and the fresh water pool in the Haven which has a retractable roof.

Haha! Thanks for humoring me, Birds!! I've mentioned to NCL staff the lack of pleasantness in the formal photos of the senior leadership. They've just smirked a little and left it alone. 🙂 

 

I guess next time I have a non-smiley senior leadership team members I'll just have to make conversation at the captain's cocktail party and ask what gives.

We're sailing Getaway in 17 days with a stop in Taino Bay, so thank you for the great pics and info!

What’s the latest game show at sea? Wheel of Fortune. 
 

Like Deal or No Deal, you have to buy a play-along game card to be in the running to be a contestant. Play-along cards are automatically scored based on the wheel spins and letters selected by the contestants. Audience members also score by correctly solving the puzzle before the on stage contestants.

Thanks for sharing the pics of Taino Bay.  We were there in January and loved just hanging out in the port area.
