mips Posted May 4 #1 Share Posted May 4 We have been there several times and its always an 'unlucky' port for us. In fact the last time we stayed on the ship. Whats your favorite thing to do? We will be there in October. Ship or private and pretty much anything is suggestible except golf and fishing.

canadjineh Posted May 5 #3 Share Posted May 5 (edited) We loved renting a car and driving out to Cabo Pulmo Nat. Park https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cabo_Pulmo_National_Park We also enjoyed going to the natural hot springs within the Sierra de la Laguna Biosphere north of http://www.loscabosguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/miraflores-300x200.jpg Cabo especially El Chorro (in the river.) https://www.loscabosguide.com/natures-hot-tubs/ It's a very cheap trip especially if you can get a group of 4 to share the car rental. Very easy driving too. Edited May 5 by canadjineh I was trying to post a photo but it wouldn't link.

I've been there many times as well and have done most of the excursions. I was there last October on the Panorama, I walked the marina to Sancho's for tacos & margaritas. It was such a fun place with a small live band and very friendly and welcoming staff. I'm planning on going again in September when I'm there on the Firenze. Another good spot to go is Solomon's Landing on the marina as well.
Glaciers Posted May 26 #6 Share Posted May 26 The whales weren't there yet when we went through so we got massages at the Sand Bar.

I always get a massage at the Sandbar. Love it!! We usually take a water taxi from the port, have them go by the arches and then drop us off at Medino Beach and then pick us up at designated time or we walk back and do some shopping. Or, if you are adventurous take the bus to Chileno Beach and go snorkeling (must have your own equipment). Have fun!
pppiglet Posted July 22 #8 Share Posted July 22 We usually go to Baja Brewing (up on the hill) by taxi ,and have some beers and the view of the ship and arches is amazing from there! Makes great pictures. Then we walk over to The Office and have shrimp tacos and margaritas, then water taxi back to the port.
Mike45LC Posted July 24 #9 Share Posted July 24 My former favorite bar, Sea Buoy, no longer has its live band space. So that's out. Favorite things? Riding along in a pedicab. HaagenDaaz ice cream in the Mall. I hate to admit it, but playing a bit at the PlayWin Casino. Looking for a new favorite bar to replace Sea Bouy. Rare J13C85 Posted August 16 #10 Share Posted August 16 We love Cabo. Been 6 years since we cruised the MX Riviera and Cabo is one of our favorite all time ports. Have done the whale watching and that was fun (but OP is too early for that). We did Zipline once (there were six of us). That was a strenuous day. We rock climbed, repelled, and walked some rope bridges. So much fun. On this day we also walked to Cabo Wabo. You can do a Sunset sail, snorkel or take a visit to Lover's Beach. We have friends who take a water taxi to Modano Beach. DW and I just love walking and exploring the Marina. Get some awesome tableside guacamole and enjoy the people watching (one time we got to bottle feed a lion cub, man DW loved that).
