shipgeeks Posted May 11 #1 Share Posted May 11 Does anyone else watch Dream Cruises? We get it every evening at 7pm, on AWE Encore. It is a few years old, but gives an interesting look at the interiors and decks of each featured ship, and excursions in each of its ports. And hopefully, those adult, frequent cruisers who watch walk away with more evidence why they should abandon mass market cruise lines in favor of the more value laden Premier industry segment. ldubs Posted May 12 #6 Share Posted May 12 Sounds interesting. I'm not familiar at all with AWE, but fingers crossed we get that channel.
Rare 1025cruise Posted May 12 #7 Share Posted May 12 AWE is owned by the same company that owns OAN (One America News). Unfortunately, a lot of cable systems have dropped these channels.
XBGuy Posted May 12 #8 Share Posted May 12 I've never heard of "Dream Cruises." I do get a kick out of "Mighty Cruise Ships" even though I am pretty sure I've seen every one of their episodes more than once.
shipgeeks Posted May 12 Author #9 Share Posted May 12 A month or two ago, we dropped our provider, and got an antenna. That totally changed what stations we get, but Dream Cruises was one of the new benefits. (Plus, we are saving a lot of $$, to use on real cruises.)
screwsmcernst Posted May 23 #10 Share Posted May 23 I Loved watching dream cruises. AWE (A Wealth of Entertainment) was one of our favorite channels. We no longer get it. I would love to see that channel again.
