That is exactly the weather DD and I got in Geiranger last year. 😕 I hope it clears up for you.

If you fancy trying a tasty local snack, get a fish cake with mashed potatoes from a place called Fiskekaka in the pedestrian street right near the ship.

At the moment a visit to Mt. Dalsnibba would be disappointing:

But I checked the webcam at 1 AM and it was ABSOLUTELY epic! It was sunny and above the clouds and you could see all the other mountain tops peaking out. If we are lucky it will clear up again.

Fingers crossed for everyone. DD and I walked up to Westeras Farm despite the low cloud cover but, of course, we didn't get to fully enjoy the view.

The fjord is somewhere behind these local residents 🐑 🐑

Did you book another excursion or are you out on your own? Wow, all ready 1pm there local time. What time do you all have to be back at the ship?

Somedays I hate apple products

Check they aren’t being saved in the HEIC format. Apple seems to like to default to this and it causes issues if where you are uploading them too only likes JPEG.

They aren’t.  Randomly one or two upload black.

One more comment on Frankie and the Dreamers.  I always amazes me that the ship's orchestra can quickly pick up the music for any headliner.  They might get one rehearsal but then it seems like they are the regular backing band for the singers.  Incredible musicians.

Hey twangster… I didn’t go into the Nordic Center at all. I quickly looked in several rooms and decided that I would spend a total Of 60 seconds in there … a total waste compared to the amazing views and scenery we have today… and the weather!!!!!

I always like a challenge, so I opted for the 2km hike up to the Flydalsjuvet viewpoint, the same one we stopped at twice this morning. It’s a great workout, not viable for the mobile impaired or if not at least a little athletic

Spectacular!  And an impressive climb to get there.  I'm thinking I'd need to be more than a little athletic.
