I’ve seen it mentioned by a couple of different agencies on Facebook. We are not allowed to mention on here.  Do a goggle search 3 day sale Princess cruises

Thank You!

For the last few years, the OBC on this 3 Day Sale has been $US200/pp for our usual 7 day trips, so $400. Add to this the TA's little $50 OBC and the Shareholder OBC, it adds up to $US550 for a 7 Dayer. We have that on most of our current trips and our TA with the Agency will be checking all our other trips to see if re-booking them under the Sale makes sense. Assuming the price is the same as the Princess price, re-booking will add $400 in extra OBC.

You do not have to book Plus.

from June 6 – 8. Book ANY sailing at Princess Plus® fares and access up to $1,200

It looks to me like you do have to book Plus fares to utilize this 3-day sale.

Yes, it sounds like it is bookings with PLUS... Now, whether one can cancel PLUS once onboard, and not lose the OBC????

For me, $20.00 of the $30. OBC per day is an upgrade to Premium....

So, that leaves $10.00 per day to try to spend.

The question then becomes... what about those who want to book SANCTUARY on the SUN, and already have Premium.    THEN that does become a LOT of OBC to use up, when most everything onboard is already covered.

I don't think it would pay us to re-book our two bookings...  I know for sure that our next cruise has gone up, a LOT.

Will have to do the math on our second booking.

(edited to add:   Nope, if I am remembering how much we paid, the fare has gone up about $600.  No benefit there.)

This might actually be a good thing if we were to book a 10 day.

OBC and can be used for transfers Southampton to London and excursion in Casablanca, so I am considering it.

Does a BW category classify as a balcony $30 pp/ day?

A previous post says the upcoming OBC offer is dependent on purchasing a Princess Plus fare.  Are you saying the OBC offer will apply to standard fares?

According to my TA, the deposit is not refundable on this one.

You are correct! It is now a non- refundable deposit. This puts it in the “no thanks” camp for me…

That's interesting. I was under the impression that, irrespective of a "Sale", any booking with a Plus or Premium Package automatically came with a refundable deposit as one of the perqs of the Package. Are we saying that for this 3 Day Sale ALL deposits would be non-refundable, even with a Package? Granted, the deposits with the Packages are usually only $US100/pp, but non-refundability would be a concern for us as well.

I believe this is the first time it’s been a non-refundable deposit (at least as far as I can remember) and maybe they will rethink it. I won’t book non-refundable, even if it’s “only” $100 per person. Too much uncertainty in life for that…

Onboard Spending Money is awarded as an onboard credit. Offer is applicable to guests 1 and 2 in a stateroom. Guests 3 and 4 receive a total of $20 onboard spending money regardless of duration. Guests with single occupancy will receive the same per guest credit amount. Onboard spending money must be used on the single voyage that it was awarded in connection with, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino, is not applicable during the land portion of cruisetours, and expires at the end of that voyage.

Looking more closely, it would appear that you CAN get the credit if booking standard fare. The marketing spin makes it appear as though that is not the case, but the small print implies it is! I guess we will find out June 6th!

Singles again.. have to pay double the fare but never double the "perks"

Interesting, about the Plus Package???  I am contacting a new TA today (hoping I found a good one that actually is just 30 min, from here). And I now have two questions to ask...  do you truly HAVE to book with the Plus Package?   And,  can she do whatever is needed to get the two of us a Premium Deluxe Balcony, that Princess is almost always holding for three or more guests?

We shall see!

I would be more likely to book this promotion if I could use it onboard towards adding the Plus Package when we board.  (for a couple of reasons...)

Are you expecting fares to increase for this promotion for standard fare? Any idea?

I would say it's very likely! Their current "sale" ends this Friday, so I'm expecting some sort of increase...
