Late night Pizza on the Paradise...

No, and my observation of similar aggressive groups onboard is that they are extended families, many first timers, resentful of the generous family member who was footing the bill.   Quite frankly, getting that family member banned would stop their jealousy.  Being at sea, thinking there aren't any cops here.

Could care less, having them gone is the goal.

Most of the viral fights I see are really late. Either near the club or after the club closes. Not saying this one was club related but the lateness seems to be a common thread. And I agree, penalties need to be harsh. At least for the aggressors.

I mean the article and title of this thread clearly says on Paradise, but........

That's great to know but I started the thread and didn't see any name of the ship. The mods must have merged 2 threads

I don't know how any of us could know that either way unless you actually knew any of them.

Obviously they do not care about rules….  I do not know when in the cruise this happened (do not care enough to go back and check either), but if there is a port after, put them off on the pier.  If not, give them a final wave after the cruise.

Here is the full video (with 78k views!) that was posted on YT six days ago of the incident that occurred on the last night of the Carnival Paradise cruise on June 6. It was in the buffet area and likely earlier than the 3am time that was quoted in the original articles. There is no direct indication of alcohol involved and in fact there is a separate pre-fight video also posted on the channel that shows the build-up between the combatants that at times appears almost to be staged by them! All appear to leave at the end of the incident on their own accord and NOT directly escorted by any security which does make one wonder of the risk that may have continued for others on the ship who were not involved.

I thought it was interesting that when I clicked the link, there was a popup add for Carnival before the video started.  I wouldn't have thought Carnival would want to advertise there, but as Phineas T. Barnum is quoted as saying "All publicity is good publicity"  Maybe this is the type of clientele Carnival wants to fill their ships with🤔

I'm sure they don't care..but I do. Glad they won't be on another Carnival that I might be on.

They could be on the same cruise as me and I probably wouldn't know it if I didn't read cruiser critic.

Or you could be some innocent person just trying to enjoy a slice of pizza when the chairs start flying.

I'd have a better chance of winning the lottery.

Any chance Nick (the guy who filmed the "show") is part of their group or does he just have incredible timing?

That would be my guess. Perhaps a stunt to rack up $$$ for the gang on YouTube.

Warning signs at the port and onboard, the use of tazers, a $5k pp fine, names announced publically and a lifetime ban would fix this...

Except for the names announced publicly.  These people probably want all the publicity they can get for their You Tube channels.

If a cruise line bans someone for life, is this info shared with other cruise lines? If it was, it would carry more weight.
